I wanted to post a few more Circus pictures and get those out of the way before I get working on my next large batch of pictures.

My crazy sister and nieces held the snake. Gail said it was totally disgusting. Abby, the little one swears she NEVER held the snake, and technically she is right, because her hand was on top, not under.

I'm already there!!!
I hope to have it started in the next day or too. I have started working on pictures, but I really need to work in my notes too. I did some more today, but I needed a 2 hour nap too. :rotfl:

Welcome back! I don't do facebook so I haven't seen any of the pictures yet. I can't wait to see all 2000 of them!

I have the first day pictures edited, though those aren't super exciting, so I should be able to get it started soon!

Trip 1 is done and over, but I don't have the major blues because I KNOW when we are going back!!!

As I mentioned before, we are going on the Dream on Nov. 4th and then a little Disney time.
I can hardly wait!!!!

The plan is to fly down Nov 3. Flights are out for Delta, which is the airling we will most likely fly. We only want direct flights. I refuse to fly Spirit again, UNLESS the price was so LOW that I couldn't refuse, but there are a lot of extra costs with Spirit, including having to pay for Carry ons, so I highly doubt I will ever fly with them again. They have small seats, no leg room ,and a lower baggage weight limit as well.
Air Tran is the other option, but My Mom refuses to fly with them, because they are famous for changing flight times, or turning a nonstop flight into one with a layover.
Delta has their flights out for that time period, but the price is just awful. Most of the family is thinking of staying after the cruise for a few days and heading home on the 11th. I looked at prices and it was about $354 per person. I checked again yesterday and it's up to $409. There is NO WAY we will pay that amount for a flight, so we are going to wait it out for now.
My plans right now are to come home on the 14h. Flights are slightly less (about $70 less actually), but still much higher than I want to pay, so again, we'll do the waiting game.

Jen,
The best flights I could have done out of Roanoke were not direct. I couldnt get Allegiant because of school schedules so we decided on the train. Now train for us is problably quicker than for you. We were estimating costs of flights at over1600 for 4 of us. I got train tickets round trip for all four of us for like $506. Now I have ridden a train From moscow to Pyiagatorisk which was over 30 hours so 11 hours on a train for 4 people who can sleep anywhere shouldnt be too bad and Mom wants to go somewhere on a train before she dies...okay that will be Orlando in December.

The girls will also be 18 and have I pods and computers and I have mobile wfi so they should be okay. They may be finishing homework to email teachers during our travel time since they are missing 3 and 1/2 days of school for our trip.

$409 :scared1: We'd better learn to fly with our arms!:lmao:

I'm hopping that this panic over gas prices will force some to buy, and then after the airlines get some sales, the prices will go back into normal range. Airlines should have better prices for Nov later into summer.

I think Airtran rates will come out later into May, if prices are $250 or lower I''l buy, other wise I'll wait a bit. We've never had our schedule changed or flight switched to a one stop. I think because Milwaukee is a bigger market and fills the planes. I have heard of changes in smaller markets, but that goes for many airlines.

It's too bad the Airlines have us by the ear. If it wouldn't take 4 days of my vacation away, I'd drive!

Over 400$ ?????? :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:
Now, that hurts. I hope prices come down again. I am really hoping we can get the free flights we want for Paris (can only book 2 weeks prior to get them at a really low point rate) - if we have to pay we'll drive!

:woohoo: for going home on the 14th, nothing better than a few days of "rest" at WDW! :thumbsup2

Flights out of Boston are crazy too right now for November! I am Hoping when southwest releases their flights I'll be able to find something reasonable. Stupid high gas prices ruining my vacation plans!

I did look at the train a few years ago, and if I remember right, we could drive faster than taking the train. I'm gonna wait and if I find something more reasonable, I'll jump on it. Even if I have to drive to Columbus to fly out, or even if I have to stay an extra night early. I'd rather spend extra on a hotel than give it to the airlines. :rotfl:

Allegiant doesn't even fly out of Toledo mid Aug to mid Nov. to Sanford. It's so frustrating.

I'm gonna watch southwest too. I'm just so disgusted right now that the airlines are basically trying to rip us off!

I would love to stay till the next weekend, but Claire will be missing a lot of school. I hope you get your free flights!!!

I feel your pain. If I have to pay for the high airfare, that means less we'll do at Disney.

I hopped on over to your new TR, made the first page!

I bought my air tickets a few weeks ago which were $475 for two. They are non stop to MCO on Airtran. We used to fly Delta all the time, but Airtran was cheaper. We've not had any problems with them & have flown with them for quite a few times.

I looked into the train before, but it was much more than a plane & much slower. I would like to go on the train other wise. It would be an adventure.
