I am as caught up as I possibly can get; but now I should be able to keep up on a daily or every other day basis.

Love the pictures of Claire at school and the wedding...such a pretty girl.

Yes, the deal was great for the van. Hertz wants like $200 more for a van, so that is why we didn't book those before.

Nice deals! I still need travel laundry soap, and to get my t shirts done. But I need ink to do that.
We did get new tennies, and socks and stuff. Forgot the ink

I got a bunch of samples of the those purel sheets a couple of years ago and I bring them along each trip now. I still have like 3 packages and there are 2 in each.

Every time I go to the store I forget something. It drives me nuts. I should get new socks. Walmart has ones I liek for $1 a pair. I never seem to remember when I go though.

I have not looked there. For me, I would, but my Mom is kid of snooty. She was a little "worried" that I went with Dollar instead of Hertz now. But she has gotten over that.
We got the van for 8 days (I think) and it was something like $266 including taxes. I think that is great. I looked at Hertz and even with the family discount it was like over $400.

Now I need to start doing some packing. I did some organzing today...and can't find somethign I swore I put in my packing pile...part of my Halloween costuem....so I may change what I am going to be. Still mulling it over.

Wow you scored big at Walmart! Great deal on the car too! I was able to get a car for $120 through priceline. I have no idea what company it is, but I have used them a few times. One time we even got Hertz! Tell mom I have used Dollar before and they are fine. All rental companies are the same. They will try and upgrade you and sell you insurance you don't need lol. I cannot believe how close the trip is getting!

I got our Gavleston car for just under $115 for 8 days too. That was a good price in my opinion. Just an economy there, but it worked for us.

I started packing today. Let's just say, not much got done. I swear every time I start something, something else comes up, or someone comes in the house.

I did have to make a trip into town today and deliver some stuff to my couson who is traveling with us. While in town, I took my rolled change to the bank. $133 there. Not bad.
After Claire got home from school we took the crushed cans that we have been collecting in and we got just under $75. That will cover the BBB appointment. I was actually hoping for a little more, but I can't complain. I know we had less cans than the last time we went.

So I got those things out of the way. I have a few more things to accomplish yet tonight, we'll see how that goes.

I never went in the water there. Though I was on a beach that was beautiful. I think yo uare right. it had a lot of stuff on the beach like shells and coral

I got a little further along today, but still have a ways to go. I have now realized that both Claire and I really need more socks. Most of hers in her drawer are too small. How did that happen. Probably because she mostly wears white school socks or flip flops.

Well living on a farm has it's perks there. I just bag them in the garage and when it's full I take it to a barn.

Otherwise, yes, you can't really keep them for long cause they do take up some space.

I hate packing. This trip, I put my outfits together the week before, and then figured what I needed to add when I finally started the actual packing (extra t-shirts). It seems I always forget something, however.
