Universal 1/10 - 1/12 What Tickets to Buy

Hello-

We will be visiting Universal for the 1st time from January 10 -12 (staying at Disney for 5 nights before that). It will be myself, my mom (74) and my sons (21 and 22). We will be staying at Royal Pacific, checking in on the 10th and out on the 13th. I haven't bought our Universal tickets yet as I'm having a hard time trying to decide which ticket to buy. Is the Buy 2 Days Get 1 Free with 2 parks per day ticket the best value? I'm thinking we need 2 full days at Universal based on the touring plans I customized but any advice is welcome at this point. Thanks.

Yes, that is the one I would buy. Since you are there for 3 days, use all three days!

We will be there roughly the same time (Jan 13-15) and I actually had the same question. My DH thought that four day passes were too long and we could use the day for another activity (so far we have a planned trip to Legoland on the 12th then Daytona Beach from the 17-19 so that leaves a bit of time on the 16-17 for other things). I figured hit up US and Legoland before MLK weekend as the closer that gets the more crowded things will be.
