When I was doing the paperwork for my resale purchase, I noticed there was a specific unit # on the document. I looked on the Orange County Comptroller's site and verified the ownership and while doing that I noticed that some deeds have unit numbers and some don't.

Mine is a resale from 92 or 93. Did they give unit #'s back then and don't now?

Thanks for any info.

I think OKW used Bldgs instead of "units". Most of my OKW ownership is in Bldg 14.

We have unit numbers on ours.

My OKW docs all have unit numbers. As Chuck said, for OKW the unit number was basically the building number.

For the other resorts, they tended to group units as a smaller portion of a building. For SSR, it's usually 2 or 3 2-br's, or maybe a GV. For AKV, a unit is usually a GV, 2 2-br's, or several dedicated studios.
