Uniforms at DVC resorts

Am I the only one that finds the CM uniforms a little dated at some of our DVC resorts? I really like AK but SSR and VGF? The mousekeeping at SSR almost makes me cringe. Makes me think of images I don't want to! I would prefer more like AoA that is a great uniform or AK. Thoughts? Am I being mean?

I don't really notice them. The only ones i thought were really awful were the ones at the GF the others I can't even recall.

First off, they're costumes, not uniforms. Second, they're designed to fit the theme, including the time period, of the resort. While I don't necessarily find them all to be to my personal taste, I do think they all fit the theme of the resort.

Disney resorts decides what the costume looks like, not the DVC.

First off, they're costumes, not uniforms. Second, they're designed to fit the theme, including the time period, of the resort. While I don't necessarily find them all to be to my personal taste, I do think they all fit the theme of the resort.

They do often feel like an early 1970s interpretation of the time period, rather than a 2016 interpretation of the time period. But I also think that the 1970s aesthetic on period costuming feels very Disney by now.
