I watched the challenger explode. Will never forget it.Remember everything else except the world series. Thanks for the reminder.

I'll always remember where I was when I learned about Reagan being shot. We were staying at the Poly, and I walked through the room from the balcony where my parents were sitting and saw the TV. At first I really didn't know what was happening, but it is a very vivid memory from my childhood.

That brought back a lot of memories.

It was quite a decade.

Wow... that brought back a lot of memories for me there! I think out of all those, I remember Princess Di's wedding the clearest of them all :)

We got married in 1986...and had written to NASA for passes to watch a space shuttle lift-off......I still have them....they were for a September mission of the Challenger. which tragically never happened.

I remember them all just like they were yesterday. Time goes by too quick.

While I dont remember all of them, I do remember quite a few of them. Probably Challenger the most since I was in middle school and my English teacher turned the TV on.

Thanks for posting these Beanie. :)

I remember them, too.
Especially the space shuttle. My DD was 2 months old, and I sat in front of the t.v. holding her and crying.
It was not a good day.

Wow! I remember all of those! was on a plane flying from Talahasee to Detroit when the Challenger tragedy happened. My sister told me about it when I landed..we didn't hear about it on the plane.
I grew up in a Detroit suburb so I really remember the Detroit Tigers winning the penant. The night they won was unbelievable. I still remember driving (I was 19 at the time) down the main busy street (5 lanes) in the township I lived in and there were people lined up and down both sides just yelling and cheering about the win. This was not a big area for pedestrias usually so this was really strange to see:D

I remember hearing about those things in later years after they happened, but I was born in late 1981 so all I really remember from the 80s are the toys and the cartoons. hehe.

And I also have a Picture/Poster of Donna Rice at Gatorkicks Saloon with a "breast" exposed.......I was thinking of putting it on Ebay:o My DD was born in 1981 and DS in 1982.

I can remember where I was when the Challenger exploded, but not where I was when the assassination attempt happened.

Thanks for posting...brings back memories!

Oh dear, they forgot "Brad Bitzer Born 9-12-86
