Okay, I know this isn't the first time this has happened, but I am very sorry that it took a little while for the next installment. It's really hard to type a trip report and take organic exams at the same time

Anyway, time to move onward!
So we knew we had an appointment for the Lights, Motors, Action! show. When we arrived, we were told that we had VIP seating, however, they needed two of us to go with my grandparents to sit in the "Director's Chairs". So, guess who got chosen by the group....me and my sister! I was so excited. So the rest of my family went to sit in the VIP seating area, and we (me, my sister, and my grandparents) followed a CM to the special area. When we got there, there were only two actual "Director's Chairs," but my grandparents didn't want to sit in them anyway because they would be too difficult for my grandmother to climb onto. So they stayed in their wheelchairs and me and my sister sat in the special chairs. However, it was still about a half hour until the show was supposed to start. And it was getting VERY hot. We were sitting right in the sun, and around all of those metal bleachers, it can get pretty warm. The rest of our family's seating was in the shade! So me and my sister were trying to fan our grandparents as best we could (I felt so bad for them

) and tried to shade them with some park maps. However, it was useless. The sun was just so hot. Just then, one of the CM's in charge saw that we were so uncomfortable. He told my sister that he and another CM were going to go and try to find some umbrellas. How nice of them! So we waited for a little bit, but much to our dismay they were unable to find any umbrellas. So we decided to move up to the same VIP area that the rest of the family was sitting in. Oh my gosh! That was so much better already!
Then the lady who runs the actual show came up to where we were sitting. She told us that she wanted our whole group to start off the show! YAY! I was so excited. So she broke it all down for us and told us, "I'll give you the cue and all you have to say is LIGHTS, MOTORS, ACTION!" We were definitely happy to oblige

So...time passed very quickly and the next thing I knew it, the woman was speaking into her microphone, standing right in front of us, and was beginning the intro to the show. But...wait a minute...is that ME on the big screen???? Ahhhhh! It was!!!! She was telling the crowd about our family and why we were there. So I nicely waved to the camera and they moved on....then it was time for our part! She gave us the cue, put the microphone in the middle of our group, and we shouted, "LIGHTS, MOTORS, ACTION!" And off went the cars! The show was beginning!
And what a great show it was! I had seen it once before, but I suppose now that I got to start it off, it just seemed 10X better!
Once the show was over, I began to wheel my grandmother down the ramp, and my sister was ahead of us with my grandpa. We were told to follow the CM, so we did. Our entire group was led backstage!!!

I was beyond excited! When we got back there, we were introduced to our tour guide, who was pretty much the head hancho of the whole production! We got to look at some of the test cars and see how it was all set up backstage (the props, the setting, etc.). One of the cars was making a loud noise behind us. So me and my Uncle Lou decided to check it out. Turns out, there was a large conduction tube going into the car and the manager told us that it was cooling the car down because it gets so hot!
Just then, all my dreams came true and about 15 young men were walking toward me. Wait a minute, I've already had this dream

Haha, just kidding. But there really were about 15 men walking toward our group, all dressed in black race car outfits. Yep, you guessed it...it was all the drivers! And let me tell you, for a 19 year old girl, some of these boys were looking very nice

Anyway, we got to talk to them and they explained which cars they drove in the show (the one that "drives backward", the "hero" car, etc.). They were all really nice too! Some of them, after we asked how they got into this job, told us they have driven in movies such as Transformers and Fast and the Furious! They also do a lot of stunt driving for car commercials! Wow! I was meeting famous people! haha...
Oh, don't worry I have a few pictures for you!
The woman in the pink shirt is the one who gave us the microphone for the intro...and the man in the blue was the one who tried to find us some umbrellas:
And here are the boys

:
Cute huh?
Phew! So after all that, we still had a long day ahead. We had VIP seating for the Pixar Parade later on...but I'll save that for the next installment! Stay tunded!
