love ur trip report!!!...u are just too cute!!

I'm really enjoying your report. My grandpa is a farmer. It's amazing how well it keeps them in shape. You and your sister are very pretty girls!

Can't wait to read more.:goodvibes

Am really enjoying your TR, your grandparents look so sweet and you're all a gorgeous family! Am looking forward to reading more :goodvibes

Thank you all so much! I really appreciate you reading my TR and I'm glad you are enjoying it!!! :goodvibes

After all the excitement at EPCOT, I thought the rest of the trip would just be average. Boy was I wrong!!! DHS is one of my favorite parks because it hosts one of my all-time favorite rides...Rockin' Rollercoaster!!!! That may have something to do with the fact that Aerosmith is my favorite band of all-time too???? :rotfl: But anyway, back to the Anniversary fun!!!

So we all arrived at DHS and went in together. Me and my sister ran to go get fastpasses for Rockin' Rollercoaster and Tower of Terror...we were able to get them for both rides because my mom, grandma, grandpa, and uncle didn't want to ride them! CRAZY!!! But, oh well, more for us :thumbsup2
We ended up flirting with one of the cast members running the booth (works like a charm :rotfl2: ) and he gave us 12 fastpasses!!! haha...I kind of felt bad taking advantage of the situation, but...what the heck!

After that, we decided to head to the Great Movie Ride first. Let me just tell you, I love this ride sooo much!!! It has always been one of my favorites because I am such a big movie buff! So I took a bunch of pics that I probably wasn't supposed to....shhh!

Okay, now that you know what the whole ride looks like :lmao: I can move on...

We wanted to check out Toy Story Mania before it got too crazy for the day, so we headed there next...but I think I'm going to go ahead and start a new post because I know I'm close to my picture limit! :thumbsup2

Okay, so back to TSM...

I adored the outside! It was so cute and creative! But of course I didn't expect anything less from Disney Imagineers!

Some pics of the inside...we had to go through the handicap line because of my grandparents, but a few of the others went through the regular one...

I'm terrible at this game...I always land on a chute!:

This ride was sooo much fun! And I was actually pretty good at it! And best of all, I beat my mom's score (she beats me in everything!)!

When we left this ride we decided to head into the "One Man's Dream Exhibit"...so some of our family members walked inside and I was waiting for my dad and sister to catch up. After a minute or so, my Aunt Trish came back out the entrance and was like, "Stephanie, come on in..." So I explained that I was waiting for my dad and sister but then she said, "No, believe me, you REALLY want to come in here..." At this I was very puzzled, but I would never disrespect her, so...I went inside. And she was right! I did want to come in! Because as soon as I walked in the door...CONGRATULATIONS!!! I heard that word from 3 different cast members...but not just any cast members...members of the Dream Team!!!! All of us in our group won the lanyards with the pins!!! I was so excited! I know it doesn't seem like much, but to me it was everything! I was so happy that I had won something from the YOMD giveaway! I was so worried that I would leave Disney and not have won anything, but now I was fulfilled! haha...and they were Tinkerbell pins...one of my favorite characters!
When my dad and sister finally arrived, they received the same greeting. They were just as surprised (and excited) as I was!
Here are just some pictures of the exhibit:

I had never been in here before, but it was very interesting. I liked it a lot!

Next we had an "appointment" at the Lights Motors Action" show...so we headed there...

Wow, what a great trip y'all had, can't wait for the next installment. :yay:

Okay, I know this isn't the first time this has happened, but I am very sorry that it took a little while for the next installment. It's really hard to type a trip report and take organic exams at the same time :lmao: Anyway, time to move onward!
So we knew we had an appointment for the Lights, Motors, Action! show. When we arrived, we were told that we had VIP seating, however, they needed two of us to go with my grandparents to sit in the "Director's Chairs". So, guess who got chosen by the group....me and my sister! I was so excited. So the rest of my family went to sit in the VIP seating area, and we (me, my sister, and my grandparents) followed a CM to the special area. When we got there, there were only two actual "Director's Chairs," but my grandparents didn't want to sit in them anyway because they would be too difficult for my grandmother to climb onto. So they stayed in their wheelchairs and me and my sister sat in the special chairs. However, it was still about a half hour until the show was supposed to start. And it was getting VERY hot. We were sitting right in the sun, and around all of those metal bleachers, it can get pretty warm. The rest of our family's seating was in the shade! So me and my sister were trying to fan our grandparents as best we could (I felt so bad for them :guilty: ) and tried to shade them with some park maps. However, it was useless. The sun was just so hot. Just then, one of the CM's in charge saw that we were so uncomfortable. He told my sister that he and another CM were going to go and try to find some umbrellas. How nice of them! So we waited for a little bit, but much to our dismay they were unable to find any umbrellas. So we decided to move up to the same VIP area that the rest of the family was sitting in. Oh my gosh! That was so much better already!
Then the lady who runs the actual show came up to where we were sitting. She told us that she wanted our whole group to start off the show! YAY! I was so excited. So she broke it all down for us and told us, "I'll give you the cue and all you have to say is LIGHTS, MOTORS, ACTION!" We were definitely happy to oblige ;) So...time passed very quickly and the next thing I knew it, the woman was speaking into her microphone, standing right in front of us, and was beginning the intro to the show. But...wait a minute...is that ME on the big screen???? Ahhhhh! It was!!!! She was telling the crowd about our family and why we were there. So I nicely waved to the camera and they moved on....then it was time for our part! She gave us the cue, put the microphone in the middle of our group, and we shouted, "LIGHTS, MOTORS, ACTION!" And off went the cars! The show was beginning!
And what a great show it was! I had seen it once before, but I suppose now that I got to start it off, it just seemed 10X better!

Once the show was over, I began to wheel my grandmother down the ramp, and my sister was ahead of us with my grandpa. We were told to follow the CM, so we did. Our entire group was led backstage!!! :dance3: I was beyond excited! When we got back there, we were introduced to our tour guide, who was pretty much the head hancho of the whole production! We got to look at some of the test cars and see how it was all set up backstage (the props, the setting, etc.). One of the cars was making a loud noise behind us. So me and my Uncle Lou decided to check it out. Turns out, there was a large conduction tube going into the car and the manager told us that it was cooling the car down because it gets so hot!
Just then, all my dreams came true and about 15 young men were walking toward me. Wait a minute, I've already had this dream :lmao: Haha, just kidding. But there really were about 15 men walking toward our group, all dressed in black race car outfits. Yep, you guessed it...it was all the drivers! And let me tell you, for a 19 year old girl, some of these boys were looking very nice :rotfl2: Anyway, we got to talk to them and they explained which cars they drove in the show (the one that "drives backward", the "hero" car, etc.). They were all really nice too! Some of them, after we asked how they got into this job, told us they have driven in movies such as Transformers and Fast and the Furious! They also do a lot of stunt driving for car commercials! Wow! I was meeting famous people! haha...
Oh, don't worry I have a few pictures for you!

The woman in the pink shirt is the one who gave us the microphone for the intro...and the man in the blue was the one who tried to find us some umbrellas:

Phew! So after all that, we still had a long day ahead. We had VIP seating for the Pixar Parade later on...but I'll save that for the next installment! Stay tunded! :surfweb:

I forgot to mention a few things! We were really surprised to find out that one of the drivers was a female! How cool! Also, if you see the one picture where the driver looks like he is writing on the other's back, they all signed a card for my grandparents!

Well that's it for now!...more coming soon! (I promise :thumbsup2 )

Your grandparents are darling! YOU are adorable. Your parents must be proud to have such a sweet daughter:)

Can't wait to hear all about your spring break trip too! Was it unexpected? I see your ticker says next year for your next trip.

:wizard:

Hey everyone! Boy do I feel aweful...it has been over a month since an update! I won't use the "college keeping me busy" excuses anymore, I'll just try to maintain a constant update...crossing the fingers to see if it works! But nevertheless, I have an update for you all! Its a continuation of our amazing day at DHS!

So after the awesome backstage tour of Lights, Motors, Action!, we had VIP seating for the Blockparty Bash parade...so we watched that...

After that, we had dinner reservations at 50's Prime Time Cafe...so off we went! Let me tell you, I haven't laughed that much or that hard in a really long time! Our server was amazing! I can't remember his name for the life of me, and I desperately wish I could. But he was awesome! In fact, I was watching one of the Disney things on the Travel Channel (can't remember which one because I have seen so many and watch them all the time) but he was on one of them when they were showing 50's PT! It was so cool! I was like "hey, I know him!"...haha...but anyway, onto the pictures!

Watching the amusement and taking tons of pics so we never forget:
61680511.jpg

61680510.jpg

Now silly me forgot to take a ton of pictures...shame on me! but everyone else did! unfortunately, I don't have their pictures on my computer, but I can tell you that they are a riot! Me, my sister, a girl from a table next to us had to get up and sing "I'm a Little Teapot" (with the actions)! Embarrassing...but fun nonetheless...but then, my Uncle Tony had to get up and do it by himself! Oh my goodness, this was hilarious, because he had a hard time remembering the words and his actions were all messed up! poor thing :lmao:

So then me, my aunt nancy, and my grandma all went to the bathroom...i apparently got done first, but i didn't know that, so i assumed maybe they went back to the table already...but when i got half way, i looked back and they were just coming out...well i was in a high-traffic area, so i just continued back to the table...little did i know, i was about to be in BIG trouble! My aunt and grandma were just coming up to the table when the waiter came by and was standing behind me (little to my knowledge)...my mom asked, "where is grandma?" and I said, "she is coming with aunt nancy, but you know how grandma has to walk slow" (because of her legs...not so good anymore)...however, that is not how the waiter took it...he startled me and said "did you just say your grandmother was slow?!" "NO NO NO!" I replied, "I didn't mean it like that!"...but it was useless...so, he made me apologize to my grandma...which i did immediately, and then i had to get up, but my face against the wall in the corner, and he led the entire restaurant around us in a song about how mean and cruel i was to my grandmother (all in good fun ;) )....oh my, i have never been so embarrassed...

but later, after all humiliation that could be inflicted was done, my grandparents received some cupcakes for their anniversary and my aunt nancy received one for her birthday, and I had the brownie sundae (AMAZING!):

Well, that was a lot, so I'll start a new post for Fantasmic! :dance3:

Later on that night, it was finally time to see Fantasmic! This is by far my favorite show at Disney World. I love it so much! I get tears in my eyes...is that bad?! haha...we all brought our light-up ears with us that day so that we could wear them to the show:

Stay tuned! I hope to give another update soon, after my bio exam on tuesday...ugh
