understanding ticket prices

I want to make sure that i understand the pricing.

We want to to to bother the parks. The universal studios and the island of adventure. Doing one park one day and the other park the second day.
So we would need the 2 day one park ticket? We don't want to do them the same day. Thanks.

Yes...the two day one park per day ticket is good for any two days within a 14 day period...they do not have to be used on back to back days. The adult price is $114.99 plus tax and the child ticket is $101.99 plus tax.

We are going to US and IOA the first week in January for 2 days and wondering if we need the Park Hopper or is fair to say that we'll go one day to each park?

One day per park should be fine.
