In all seriousness, I do love how you compliment your wife (even when it's a bit, ummm...what's the word???). It's obvious you've learned a thing or two about being married! ;)

Yes, I'm Sweet Polly. This is the first chance I've had to post on here. I was out of town over the weekend and look what i come home too. Plus, some of us have to work for a living! MIKE! :rotfl2:

Those of you who don't know us probably now see the things I put up with. ;)

I have to say, it was a great trip with great friends. Hope you enjoy the trippie! popcorn::popcorn::

Yes, I did have a Disney wedding! And it was amazing… Lots of people told us not to do it as well :rotfl: But if we were going to take the plunge, I am glad that it was through Disney.

I absolutely love that divider plate!! I am in the same boat as you and believe that food has no business touching other food lol

I am so happy to come along for the ride! Great report!

Can't wait to read about the people in St. Thomas, as I was worried we would be those people too earlier this month! We were at Havensight, traffic sucked and suddenly realized we needed to get downtown pronto to pick up the tender. I hightailed it at top-speed with two kids along the pathway, while DH and his buddy saunter along and even stop to pick up a beer along the way!

Great job!!! I hope we can too cruise together again. No 2013 for us though we are going to Aulani!!!!!

SATURDAY!! CRUISE DAY!!

Its become a tradition of ours to wake up early on cruise day and camp out near Grills for the return of the Magic.:wizard: We knew she usually rolls in around 5 or 5:30 so we made sure we got up early. Its very peacful (and romantic :rolleyes1) so you know i'm not going to pass up a chance to make Robin "melt like butter" in my arms.;)popcorn::

Sooo you mean to tell me you two were makin out on the dock as the Magic was comin in???? Dude...That is SOOOO not G rated!!! :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

Would anyone actually care enough to continue reading?:surfweb:

For these answers and many more..stay tuned tomorrow...same Underdog time..same Underdog channel.popcorn::

I actually got one off Ebay a few years ago for use at home.:thumbsup2

We have some video of a couple who came driving up just as the ship pulled out. I cant imagine the helpless feeling.:scared:

Looks like we're going to make Hawii a part of Robins retirement trip in a couple years!:dance3:

MONDAY, MONDAY.. cant trust that day
DSC07473.jpg

OK..Palo..A hotly debated topic since we went there on our first cruise in 2001. Everyone told us "you have to go to Palo"...So we did..Very nice place, nice setting, very romantic (but then anytime i'm around Robin theres romance in the air););) (that should get me a smoocher eh?)

However for a steak and fries kind of guy the menu was too fancy for my tastes. Keeping in mind it was our first ever cruise, i just assumed i'd have to order something from the menu. (and i NEVER try new foods). So i ordered the lamb and i swear to this day i can still feel that taste of lamb in my throat...I'm sure it was good if you like that kind of thing..but i dont..After a little while the waiter asked if there was something wrong and i explained ....to which he responded, "If you want a steak, i'll get you a steak!"..I did and so he did and Robin and i have been laughing about that night for years. But i swore i'd never go there ago because the menu just isnt to my liking.:upsidedow

Now Chuck thinks like i do, so much so that he let Nancy go on a "Palo brunch date" on our last cruise with a fellow "Bobber". (here's your chance to find that picture of your date Nancy.)popcorn::

So fast forward to this cruise and Nancy keep trying to talk us into trying the Palo brunch. She told us how they have a different menu and how they'll make anything you want. After months of trying, she wore me down and we agreed. Unfortunalty we missed the chance to link up with fellow Parleyers who were "brunching" at the same time, only in the private room. But at least we got to semi crash their party enough for some pictures.:thumbsup2

Even though they didnt have the divided plates here..i managed to keep all my foods seperated nicely.:thumbsup2

I must say, looking at the foods they had lined up there i was VERY NERVOUS early on. Everything had fancy sauses or cheeeses or veggies on them:sick:
Then i found out they'd make me plain chicken breast, a plain pizza, just the way i like it! Obviously the danish and all the pastries were amazing.

All in all it got a BIG THUMBS up!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 Kudos to Nancy for "forcing" me to go there. I think she was pretty nervous about the whole experience because i'd been tormenting her about it for months. (thats what i do.:rolleyes1)

I ate, and ate, and ate..:upsidedow..i had been telling Robin that i feel like i've eaten more on this cruise already than i ever had. I felt like a duck. All i was doing was eating, going to the bathroom, then eating some more...
But that didnt stop me from putting more food down my gullet.:rotfl::lmao:

After brunch..NO MORE FOOD!
DSC01233.jpg

Recharged a little, perhaps walked off some of that Brunch in anticipation of the Dis "Strawbery Smoothie Meet" in Quite Cove this afternoon..or as we call it, the NOT so Quiet Cove.:rotfl:

Ok..Strawbery Smoothie Dis meet.:cutie:

This tradition started a few cruises ago because we had noticed theres always Wine Tasting meets, beer tasting meets etc so since Robin and i dont drink alcohol, we'd have a Strawberry Smoothie meet in Quite Cove Cafe. The meets became an instant success and have become a traditional part of our cruises. On our last cruise, good friend Rick  decided he'd stir the pot and introduce Robin to Chocolate Smoothies and that was it...i lost her for good.:rotfl:
This particular cruise the , the Parleyers, turned up the dial even more and started introducing every kind of smoothie under the sun. One member even suggested a Kale smoothie. The competition become fierce as the cruise approached, with some members taking to having magnets on their doors to help promote their smoothie chioce.

All in all it's great time to catch up with the Dissers we've met over the past year or so..By the way...Once the final count was in..Strawberry Smoothies won in a landslide.;):thumbsup2

Putu was quite proud of himself every night when he brought out something gluton free wasnt he?:thumbsup2

Yes he was, but Wendy said that she would have been just as satisfied with a bowl of fruit each night as some of the offerings weren't that great.

SUNDAY.. Day at Sea

DSC07569.jpg

The above picture notes how a normal person (Underdog) eats on a cruise.

Normal? Not normal to eat sweet and savory tobether

After breakfast we just chilled all day by the pool and decided to hit the gift shop early and use up our ships credit on "stuff". We got extra stuff since we saved all that money on not buying trip insurance.;);)

La la la la ..... not going to bite!!

Thanks so much for posting your review. :wizard: I'm very new to planning a Disney Cruise,(for my husband and myself, both in our 50's) and it's nice to see so many adult couples on your cruise. I was a bit concerned we might feel out of place.

Never feel out of place. It's a wonderful atmosphere for adults without kids.
