Undercover Tourist and Hard/EMail Ticket Question...

Hard plastic tickets function just like MBs. They link to the data in the MDX system so if a guest has MBs, they don’t need a plastic ticket.

An eticket can be exchanged at the entrance touchpoints for a plastic ticket in addition to the Ticket Windows and Guest Relations.

I will have magic bands from last year's trip, but like to have the hard tickets as a back up in case someone loses a magic band. If I have an eticket from Undercover tourist that is valid for 5 tickets, can I exchange this at the touchpoints for 5 hard tickets? This is the first I'd heard of redeeming the eticket for a hard ticket at a touchpoint. At least assuming the magic bands I have still work, I guess at least I'd have those as a back-up/it would save me from going to will call if I did go to a touchpoint and they wouldn't give me the hard tickets there.

They call over a CM with an iPad. I’m not sure if they’d give you the plastic tickets at the touchpoints if your party is wearing MBs because you’d be holding up the line.

The hard tickets expire Feb 28, the electronic one are Dec 31, 2019. I would get all electronic tickets and link them in MDE. There is no benefit to the hard tickets.

Yes. If you have MBs linked to your account, you don’t need to go to Will Call.

Thank you for the further explanation! Yeah, I wouldn't want to hold up the line for sure, just wanted to know if for some reason it didn't work on the Magic Bands if they can help you at the touchpoints. I'm the kind of person who always brings my hard tickets with me as a back-up in my wallet. I'll bring a copy of my eticket just in case then, but sounds like getting a hard ticket at the touchpoints isn't very efficient.
