I read on allears that children under 3 can eat off of a parent's plate at Disney Buffets for free. Is it allowed to fill the adults plate and then at the table put it on a seperate plate for your child? I don't want to do anything that is unacceptable.

Actually at a buffet children under three are free. They get their own plate and selections. Also since beverages (such as sodas, milk, juice) are included with the buffet they are also free.

It is at a non-buffet where anything ordered for them must be paid for. In that case normally the server will provide an extra plate to put food for the child on.
