Ok, this may seem like a silly question, but if I have an under 3yr old with us do we have to pay for their meal and if we don't have to pay for their meal (share off of our plate) do they still get the magic wand?

We've been twice with an under three. The first time she was given food and the toys (and a cupcake and birthday card - it was her first birthday). The second time we went our waiter seemingly didn't believe that the other child in our party was under three (her third birthday was the next day, my daughter was almost but not quite two) and said that since we'd listed the children in the party as infants, they wouldn't get a meal. He didn't offer them toys either, but the hostess ended up giving the girls wands. My daughter ate off my plate.

hmmm ok. DD2 will have just turned 2 when we go and I know she would be old enough to be upset if she didn't get a wand like her big sister. I just don't know if we need to fork out the extra cash to ensure she gets one.

my niece was under 3 our last trip, she was given the wand. there have been posts in the past under 3 were offered buttered noodles for kids under 3. My sister was told that she could order anything on the children's menu for free; just a smaller sized meal.

I went with almost 3 year old twins for breakfast in June and my 9 year old DS
both of my DSs were given swords, DD got a wand...all 3 got a wishing star

So we got the pastries...I had to beg for an extra muffin (in the end, we got two blueberry muffins) and the waiter looked annoyed. My DS 9 got a tiny kid breakfast and DH and I each got an adult breakfast which were fine to eat, but not really enough to share. We were all hungry later, but the kids didn't notice the food at the time.

We've been with an under 3 twice and both times received great treatment... Wands etc.. They brought out fruit and chicken nuggets both times.

We went there last year with my son who was under 3, he got a sword just like big brother and having swords was literally the highlight of their vacation, LOL. Anyways I don't think we paid for him but we were able to order anything off the kids menu and they just brought a smaller size. I believe he got mac and cheese.

Highly recommend talking to a manager if you get a server who won't give her a wand. I'm kind of shocked at some of the experiences posted on this thread. I can't believe how some of the servers treated the under 3s!!!!

We were just there beginning of December with our dd turning 7 on the day of our visit and my 2 year old dd. at the beginning of the meal they brought out the grapes and cheese appetizer for both dd's (we were there for lunch). Later on in the meal I did ask for wands for both of them and the waiter brought them without saying anything, but I did have to ask for them. I was never offered anything else food wise for my 2 year old and she just ate off of my plate and her sisters plate.

We were there for my DD's first birthday last week.

She received what they called an infant meal with a cheese and grapes appetizer, chicken nuggets and fruit, and a scoop of ice cream. This meal was free. Smaller than a kids meal. She got a wand and a wishing star.

We had arranged the royal highness package to celebrate her birthday with a cake, balloon, tiara so she didn't get a cupcake or anything extra to recognize her bday because we already planned that.

We thought that our son (2 years old) would eat off of our plates but much to our surprise he was given a full kids meal just like my daughter's (4 years old). The meal was free and our server brought a wand for my DD and sword for my DS and they also received wishing stars. Our 2 year old was definitely well taken care of.
