Uncrustables Grilled Cheese

We just tried them, on sale for $1.99 plus I had a coupon.

My kids said they're okay...great for a quick snack, but definitely not for lunch!

Anyone else tried them yet?

I had a coupon and tried them too. I liked them, but they are too expensive without a doubled coupon.

I agree, they are expensive, but if you buy them in a place like Costco, B.J.'s or Sams Club it's not too bad.

I have bought them a few times, for myself LOL. They are OK, not great, but not bad. They are good and easy to eat quickly.

My kids don't mind them occassionally when we are in a rush. I buy them only if they are on sale.

Haven't seen them in the store. Do you cook them or are then eaten cold? Wondering if they would be good to use in our Mickey sandwich maker.

They come lightly toasted, so you just warm them up in the microwave.

I imagine they'd be pretty nasty cold!

Saw them for the first time yesterday, right next to the PB&J ones that I have had before. Tasty.

To be honest I haven't even seent he uncrustables PB&J yet! LOL Where in the grocery stores do they have them?

In the stores around here, they're right next to the frozen pizza, usually in with the frozen pretzels, pizza bites, etc.

my DD loved the uncrustables...I bought a thing-a-ma-jig from Pampered chef that lets you make your own...her favorite is fluffernutter and they do not ooze out when crimped together with this thing

Have them in the freezer and now I will have to try them . My kids were afraid LOL they said it looked gross but they eat the PB&J ones go figure

They're pretty good for a quick dinner, especially with a bowl of soup. But, man, I love those PB&J ones! They have them at work and I eat them most every day for lunch. Keep some at home for when I'm photographing auto races - easy to keep with me and eat on the run. Uncrustables are one of the greatest food inventions ever, if you ask me!

Another vote for the Pampered Chef thingy! I have one and make 'circle' sandwiches for my kids all the time. DD5 even does them herself now and is really proud of herself. She helps make a sandwich for DS3 now. None of my kids like the idea of a PB&J sandwich from the freezer. This way they can each have whatever they want.

I haven't seen them in the stores yet and didn't even hear of them until this thread. My 2 year old daughter loved the pb&j uncrustables in WDW, I mean absolutely loved them, but when I bought them at home, she wouldn't take more than one bite . She does like grilled cheese so maybe I'll have to try the new uncrustables.
