Unbelievable story: Teen finds his picture on missing children's website

I just ran across this story on CNN.com and had to share.

It seems that a 17yo boy was surfing the web and discovered a picture of himself (at age 3yo) on a missing children's website. He told his teachers about it and they contacted authorities. It seems that the boy's father had custody, but his mom took off with him 14 years ago. What an unbelieveable story.

Wow! I have mixed emotions about this story. On one hand the Teacher had to turn in the Mother and she had to be arrested since she broke the law. But the 17 year old is now in foster care, does not know his Father, and probably feels horrible for his Mother being arrested.

Sad situation.

How sad...what the dad must have went through these last 14 years...And now the mom, and of course the boy. I just can't imagine how child custody comes to this. Very sad.
