A little background, we just got married September 4th but have gone to Orlando twice on vacation as a couple. We have been together 6 years. He always thought "every four years is often enough" for an Orlando vacation because nothing was ever new. We started to discuss our retirement plans and HE actually suggested when we sell the townhouse, we buy a winter place in Orlando! I was stunned. He always talks and acts like my theme park love is silly. I guess spending 3-4 times as much time in the Caribbean, he has, like me, gotten a little bit over it. I have been to the Caribbean 27 times and WDW ... 4.
We have the townhouse here where we work and a fully paid for lake home "up north" for those non-winter months. I know we could do it! I am just stunned he would suggest it. He even suggested working part time at a theme park. (We love them all BTW). Where did this come from? I guess he just quietly assesses things and they come out randomly.
Starting to feel a little giddy and like I need to go to the gym and eat better and be totally fit and ready to be a part time CM or TM or whatever at an Orlando theme park when we retire. However, I'm an accountant and only "act" in community theater (hobby). Anyone know if part time snow bird employees are possibility?
