Unable to make park passes for DVC trip in June

I'm an AP holder and I have 2 trips booked. One in February at Port Orleans French Quarter I made with cash because we waited too long and that weekend had 0 DVC availability. A split stay in June/July before and after our cruise on the Wish. I have linked all my reservations into my plans, and can see them with the proper family members. I can get park reservations for the february trip but not June/July. Is that how its supposed to work? My AP doesn't end until after the trip ends, so I'm unsure why I can't book anything considering I have a resort stay. I know AP holders are restricted to the number of days they can book, but I thought that was only if you don't have a resort stay.

It sounds like everything should work for you to get them for June/July. Unfortunately, it may require a call to MDE support line.

So the system has now been setup that you have two links. One for AP reservations that limit to 5 (outside of the bonus reservations) and one for resort guests. You need to make sure you are selecting the one for resort guests and it should then show all the reservations linked to your MDE then you can select one to reserve for. Then it shows the days you can book for that reservation.

Log into this site it’s for AP holders and it shows what I’m talking about (2 links).
AP Reservation System

I noticed when making reservations for our family - who have regular tickets, not APs - that there was no option to select resort guest when making park reservations with regular tickets. Does Disney not have a bucket for resort guests with regular tickets??

I was just having this same conversation with a friend (AP holder) who has a reservation in December and could only book 5 days. I said make sure you book under the resort guests. We went on MDE and couldn't find it. I wonder if there is yet another glitch.

I for one think the reservation system sucks .... so does the no hopping until after 2pm ..... they took something that was very easy and convenient and totally boogered it up

There is no bucket for resort guests with tickets. The availability buckets are actually the same.

Did the link above I posted work? I have a hard time finding that link normally, it takes me some time on the site to get to it. Doesn’t always lead me there the first time.

Dear Disney, if you want to improve onsite hotel bookings, offering a perk like, oh, park pass reservation availability reserved for onsite guests that don't have an AP would be a good way of doing it.

It's crazy to me that resort guests are competing with off-site guests for park pass reservations...

Yes- thank you!
