UKDis Travel Advisory Service/Who has stayed at:

The Novotel Waterloo.

As some of you may know we (DD1 and myself) are going to see Oasis on the 5th July.. We have booked a family room at the above hotel for on 4th - 5th July.
What I would like to know has anybody stayed here before? If so how did they find it etc..
Anyother info of the surrounding areas would be a great help as while we are at the concert DH and DD2 will be doing a little sightseeing..

Other than the London Eye there isn't much around Waterloo, although it is only a short walk over the Thames to Covent Garden , Soho, Chinatown and Leicester Square.

I haven't seen that particular Novotel, but we have a branch of theirs right next to my office ( near the Tower of London) it looks pretty nice and I haven't heard any worrying reports about the chain.
