Hi everyone!
Trying desperately to get costs down as much as poss at the mo, and i noticed someone had mentioned that uk upper terr is cheper than lower?
can anyone give me any info on this pleas?:surfweb: if this is the case, i would deff consider .
Anyone gt any cost saving tips they could pass on, re: flowers cheapest videographer, decor etc... it would be v much appreciated at the mo!;)

I'm not sure if the site fee is lower for the Lower Terrace vs. the Upper Terrace. We are having our DP at the Upper Terrace. It is going to be less than our original location (Morocco) because there are already tables & chairs setup there. You won't have to pay a setup fee (which is $75 I believe). The site fee is $325 for both Upper & Lower, I think.

I can't speak on the upper vs the lower. I can tell you how we cut a few costs. We used outside photography and videography. We used Disney Floral, but reused the floral in several venues. I also brought pieces for my centerpieces. I made my welcome bags myself....there are alot of things you can do to bring down costs.

I switched from UK Lower to UK upper when my date changed. They both have a fee of $325, but my Sales guy says there's a setup fee for Lower that you don't pay with Upper, since there are already tables and chairs. Unfortunately, he never mentioned how much....if I find it in my paperwork when I get home, I'll post it.

I'm having a DP on the lower terrace and the setup fee is $75. The upper terrace already has the tables and chairs so you don't have to worry about the setup fee. As for the site rental, I think they are the same. I am having my reception in the park (American Adventure Parlor), so they waved the site rental fee for the Dessert Party.

Thanks girls for getting back to me!;)
i've got my planning session tomorow with marion stewart (anyone familiar?)
so i'm hoping she'll have a few suggestions on reducing the cost of things:idea:
speak soon x:goodvibes

Marion is my planner too. She is a really nice lady. She is very professional and gets straight to business. She has been with DFTW since if officially started 16 years ago, so she definitely knows how to save money.
