UK plug sockets (Newport Bay Hotel)

Does anyone know if there are uk plugs sockets here?

I am sure I read somewhere that some DLP hotels now have UK sockets.

Its FRANCE, so why would you think a hotel in Disneyland Paris has UK sockets??? Just do what all the rest of us do, go to Boots or Superdrug and buy your travel adapters!!!

I've always known France to have two pin plugs whereas in the UK we use 3 pins although I believe it's the same voltage, just the different number of pins.

Yes, the Newport Bay Club hotel now has UK style three pin sockets in some rooms, these appear to be the lakeside Compass Club Rooms. Only one socket in the room is of the UK type and they are next to the desk.

UK sockets are also scheduled to be installed in Hotel New York and the Disneyland Hotel during their planned refurbishments.

These have been installed mainly for use of their UK convention business guests but also works out as an added benefit for all their UK visitors too.

The French earth/ground the socket so only the need for 2 pin and the UK earth the plug

Thanks. I have booked a standard room so do you think the UK plugs will be in there also.

Got about 10 travel adaptors but they are in the loft with the suitcases.

Would be easier if the newport standard rooms have uk plugs -saves getting up in the loft.

E-mail the hotel and ask, I heard only the Club rooms were getting them but they might have extended the programme to all the rooms.
