Absolutely, Judy. Had to go to London on business last week and felt defiant taking the tube.

Just back from a week long residential course in Central London (although I only live a few miles away).

Public transport is holding up although the tubes and buses were quieter than usual and a there have been a number of station closures due to precautionary measures.

We Londoners take all of this in our stride and are quite stoical about all of this - life goes one.

One thing I did notice was an increase in push bikes and scooters on the roads.

Wanted to drop in and send my thoughts and prayers for your safety!
This is such a terrible thing, and now it looks like there are 'copy-cats' trying for their 15 minutes of fame.

I also wanted to say how much I admire your courage and stoicism in the face of these cowardly terrorist acts. Please watch out for each other. The bravery of the people who disarmed the one terrorist today..well, that is empowering.
