UK gets big discount... any hop for us Canadians

I know we Canadians have gotten discounts in the past, but nothing like this:

I would love a 14 day ticket at that price!

Anyhow, I had assumed that there would be no Canadian discount this year but is there still some hope for one? Usually it is offered right around now I believe.

Is it offered through Disney or from a third party? If it's a third party, just buy the UK ticket... there are posts about people buying the 14 day tickets and using them with no issues.

Whenever I do the Canadian tickets I have had to show ID at guest relations. I assume it would be the same for these.

UK tickets have not had a residency requirement to them, there are a number of threads where people have bought and used them from Canada. If they are from one of the UK "American attractions" sites, you can verify with the seller but others have used them. It is nice to see them add the genie+ as they already were park hoppers plus water parks, and come with memory maker. A much better deal than anything Canadians have gotten in the past.

I've bought the 14 day UK tickets - no problem at all. They send the hard ticket or electronic (your choice), you link them to MDE and away you go. At no time do they ever ask you (Disney, I mean) to prove residency. The only thing I had to do to purchase them on my cc was scan a copy of a utility bill to prove I was the person on the cc before they would charge it. If you are going to go for a couple of weeks, well worth it.

I think that is the best deal you're going to get right now - unless Disney comes out with a Canadian ticket deal.

There is a 7-day UK ticket in addition to the 14 day one, depending on exchange rates it might be a better deal (since it is also hopper, waterparks, includes memory maker and now genie+ as well). There are a couple places that sell them.

I just purchased UK 7 Day Ultimate Tickets (electronic) and linked them to my MDE without too much trouble. I figured out I had to link them using the Disneyworld UK site after unsuccessfully trying on the US site. I believe if you get hard tickets mailed you don’t have to worry about this “issue” but I was worried about getting them in time. I will be using them next week and will report back if they work!

That would be an amazing deal. Dishguy let us know how it works out! We'll never see something like that for Canadians I'm sure. I think some were able to get 20 bucks of a hotel though, so there's that... lol

So we used our 7 day UK tickets with no issue last night. We already had magic bands and plastic cards so we skipped going to will call and headed right to the entrance of Magic Kingdom.

So if you have old plastic cards from previous trips we can reuse them?

Yes, I believe you can use old cards but our old magicbands worked so I didn’t test the cards. As long as they are still linked to your account on MDE of course.
