DH and I were planning a vow renewal in June, with our families, so friends, etc. for June, but it's turned into quite the headache, and we really no longer want to go.
DH suggested that we just can the entire thing, and use our points for a weeks stay somewhere in Europe. We've both wanted to visit Ireland, so an anniversary trip - just the two of us - would be wonderful.
I'm wondering if anyone has used there points for this, how was the hotel (Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel) and how easy was it to trade your points to RCI and book?
Most have told me that it would be better to rent out our points and use the cash for the trip... we'd get a better deal.
Any advice?
