I found it quite hard to choose which photo to go for


I must say, I don't remember taking all those photos of big drinks but I'm sure there's a lesson in there somewhere

Well anyone with a photo called A cocktail should always be at least the size of your head was always going to have lots to choose from

That is a lovely photo, the resemblance to each other is so striking. Your son just looks like a mini version of his Dad.

i know !! and DD looks just like me (poor kid) we often say that both sets of genes never mixed at all both kids just got one set each

We had a discussion on this several weeks back, but I failed to update the rules. I've now amended the rules to include the following:

The competition is intended to showcase photos taken by the person submitting them. That, therefore, excludes those in which you appear yourself (other than those taken with a timer, in which case please comment on the Discussion thread) and any official park photographs.

However, as this week's competition has already attracted more than one or two entries which clearly feature the submitter, we'll waive the rule this week. In fact, I think some topics (this being one of them), probably lend themselves to such a diversion. In future, if I feel a topic warrants it, I'll mention it when posting the Entries thread.

We have several voters this week who don't appear to be UK Community board members. When I initally floated the idea of a Photo Competition with the UK Community Moderators both they and I were of the firm opinion that it should be for members of UK Community only. Restricting it to those from the UK wasn't an option as we have several genuine members of the community who hail from other places. Neither did we want to exclude newbies, provided those people were genuine members of the community and not simply visiting UK Community for the purposes of entering or voting in the competition. As I see it, a member of the community can be defined as someone who contributes regularly to a broad range of topics.
