UK Community Photo Competition for w/e 2 February - Fireworks DISCUSSION

Some amazing photos of fireworks, if I get chance I will post a couple although they are pretty average compared to the ones posted.

I love your first shot Matt - what sort of setting did you use to get it??
Thanks Tink, it is 1.3s shutter at f11. ISO set at 200 with lens at 18mm. Also, it is on a tripod.
I've taken many without tripods and some times you can get just as good a photo. At the same time though at least with a tripod you know that camera shake won't be an issue.

Some really good entries, especially Allie5's first one. Reckon this will be another excellent week.

I dont think I have any good fireworks shots this week, however there are some brilliant photos on there.:thumbsup2

SYKO that looks like it's a really nice shoot but can you make it a bit bigger?
It's not for me you understand but some of the older members ( Kev) will struggle to see it.;)

same here
gave up years ago trying
just stand back now an enjoy the show

no entry this week
Me too :)

The entries so far are fantastic! It's inspired me to try and get a good fireworks shot next trip!
