Thanks to everyone for their votes. Actually there was nothing out of the ordinary in the taking of this pic. We were waiting by Aladdin's Magic Carpets whilst Scottish Maleficent and DW took the kids on the ride. I spied the ducks in the pool nearby and just rested the camera (Fuji Finepix S5500) on the wall. The duck in the pic was nearest so I just lined her up, put on the Macro setting and let the auto-focus do the rest. You've seen the result! Just want to add my commiserations to Matt . . . the late vote wasn't deliberate!

I'd love to hear from the winners a bit about their winning entries.. settings, whether a tripod was used, any special or lucky event add to the photograph

Mine was at ISO 1600, to negate the need for a flash. Unfortunately, you get more noise at that level. Then I just played around a little early on in the ride to get the shutter speed right, which was 1/30 which set the aperture at f5.6.
