Uhm....Bahamas is now requiring vaccinations for all passengers over 12..

Finally! I can't believe it took them so long. It really is horrible customer service (as has much of the Disney response been during this pandemic). Sorry for the families with kids who are turning 12 too soon to get vaccinated.

What do you think the odds are that that is extended to beyond November 1st?
Could this be like the initial closures where dates were set and then they just extended, and then extended again...and so on?

Just got the official email from DCL:

"Beginning September 3 until November 1, 2021, The Bahamas will require that all cruise ship passengers ages 12 and older be fully vaccinated in order for a ship to be allowed entry into any of its cruise ports, including private islands like Disney Castaway Cay.

To comply with this new requirement, all Guests ages 12 and older on your upcoming sailing must be fully vaccinated to board the ship."

The email also specifies this in case that impacts anyone:

"Guests who have received one single dose of a vector vaccine (e.g. AstraZeneca) and one single dose of a mRNA vaccine (e.g. Pfizer, Moderna) are not considered fully vaccinated."
