Like today after the markets close. But you're probably right. Looks like it's vodka time tonight!
We should do a dinking game...every time we get an email from Disney, but it ISNT telling us about the new protocols...drink!

I just stumbled on the Palo thread about this Balsamisc Grande...I was going to have one on the ship in 2 weeks, but I might have to make my own this weekend!

We'll all be in the emergency room with alcohol poisoning.

edit to add: No we won't, they send out so few emails...

Last chance for this thread.

If you want to discuss the Bahamian policy as it relates to DCL cruises - GREAT!!

If you'd rather speculate and provide opinions and anecdotes from other situations, please find another site for those discussions.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
I'll respectfully say there isn't much to discuss;
  1. Disney can't sail cruises to nowhere. for reasons listed by PP.
  2. Federal Government isn't likely to issue a waiver
  3. .Bahamas has a right to require vaccinations
  4. Castaway Cay is an important port for DCL.
  5. Other ports have similar rules.
  6. Dropping Canaveral as an embarkation port isn't practical
  7. Requiring vaccination is the only option
  8. Disney can either go to court or wait and see if FL wants to take action
  9. PP made a good poimt FL can't impose regulations on foreign countries

This thread is people wondering when Disney. will impose a vaccine rule or cancel cruises..

I actually wondered if this is why they bumped up PAT's for the next couple of Dream cruises. Possibly they saw that all or almost all of the cruisers were vaccinated, and that they would not need as much testing time in port Canaveral.
That and the cruises could just be very empty. I booked a VGT today and got a 1230 PAT. I have no idea what the earliest is.

Please don't let this thread be shut down......Or I will have to find a different place to click 50x a day to see if there are any updates. :badpc: :badpc: I don't know if I have the energy for that. :rolleyes1

Ditto! Been hitting refresh all day!

Hit up the chat randomly for the heck of it:

"We are aware of the recent updated travel guidance from the Bahamas requiring vaccinations for all cruise passengers 12 and older which is effective September 3 - November 1, 2021.

We are quickly reviewing and will be communicating to Guests on affected sailings once we have finalized our plans."

Their definition of "quickly" is different from mine.

Disney rep sure spelt "slowly" weird.
