I just tried to book my DME reservations and ran into a couple problems. I had to call twice.....

Call #1:
I told the guy that there would be 2 people flying in on 2 separate flights, from 2 different cities. He took my information, but didn't want my friend's information. I asked how he'd get his luggage tags, etc. and he just said they'd send them to me. :confused3 I figured, "Okay.......not a huge problem. I'll just mail my friend his tags when I get them in the mail."

Immediately after the call I realized that I had given him the wrong flight number. (Priceline has changed my flight number numerous times, and I wound up giving him an old flight number.)

Call #2:
I spoke to another guy to try and rectify the problem.....but when he asked for my reservation number he said nothing was coming up. He tried it again and still nothing came up.

I guess what I need to know is.....how much of a problem is this going to cause when we get to MCO?

I managed to fix everything. The agent I spoke with on call #3 said that the previous 2 agents took down the wrong information. Just a little FYI....

When you're booking your DME reservations be sure that:

1. If you have a connecting flight when flying into MCO be sure they get the connecting flight number, not the one from your original place of departure. Even if they insist they don't need it, they do. I was told these agents were probably new in the call center.

2. When someone tells you that you don't have a reservation because your reservation number isn't showing anything, be sure to tell them that the first character of your reservation number MUST BE A CAPITAL LETTER! :lmao: Again, the agent was probably new.

Just a little FYI, people. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the info sweety - You're always looking out for me :lovestruc

The DME books always go to the main person on the Reservation. I have done it twioce where I had to send the tags to others in my party. I even sent the whole book to my friend the first time and just made a copy for myself. I kept my voucher and tags. Good thing I did because she missed her flight coming down and had I not sent her the stuff, I would have been at MCO from noon till about 4pm. Not the nicest palce to spend 4 hours!

Wally, have a great time with the monorail man!

Spending time in airports doesn't bother me too much. From the pictures/videos I've seen of it, MCO doesn't too bad............or.....does it? :)

Thanks for the tip. As long as we can get rides to/from MCO on the bus we'll be fine. Luggage won't be a big issue because I think we both decided to pick up the bags at the claim ourselves.

Well, there are a lot of shops and a few places to eat in the main terminal. 2 hours ok, 4 hours, better have a good bnook, a DVD player and a lot of patience. I think there is a Shipyard Brewery, at least there used to be. There are also 2 disney stores, a universal store and a sea world store.

Wally put that nice young man down or I'll tell your Mother on you!...Maybe I'll tell MY Mother instead...that'd show ya!

Awwwwwww! You called me "young". I like you even more now. :flower3:
