We have the last week of May for vacation this year and I decided to try Priceline to get our room. I bid $55/nite for a 3 or 4 star hotel and got Hyatt Orlando but then I noticed that I chose the wrong month when I bid. I chose April instead of May..I live in Savannah so it may not be such a bad date problem, atleast I can go for the weekend but now I am afraid that I have a bad hotel. Should I have stayed with 4 star or better?

Sorry, Cheryl, but you kinda messed up! Jane is right - it's really helpful to check Sheryl's site before trying to bid. The good news is that there is nothing wrong with the Hyatt. I've stayed there and it is pretty nice. You could have stayed there for less with Priceline (~$35/night), but $55 is still a good price for that hotel. The bad news is that you most likely could have gotten the Wyndham Palace (4*) for that price (or less), which is MUCH nicer and on Disney property. My only advice about staying at the Hyatt is to not accept a room close to the convention center because they have parties there and it can be really loud!
