I think it's one of the best new shows in a LONG time. It's a comedy with some drama. Betty reminds me of William Hung in spirit. She knows that she's not beautiful, but she doens't care, to her being true to herself and believing in herself is the most important thing, and that's what makes her tick.
Her boss has come to rely on her--she was hired by his father because she was the only woman who applied for the job that the boss wouldn't try to sleep with. There is some innuendo, but it's PG at worst, so fine for the kids. Just like with some of the innuendo in TS2, it will go right over their heads.
I am starting to like Wilhelmina's character now that she is showing her other side, Niko really knocked her down a few pegs.
Wilhelmina's zany assistant is a storyline in himself, and I hope they develop his character more.
It's just a fun, family oriented show, and because it's "original" and doesnt' ahve a glamourus star, it's endearing.
