I seriously think I am gonna like this show! I loved her in The Traveling Pants and in Real Women have Curves. I hope its as fresh as it looks!

I hope the show is better than the name. I have not watched the previews, but from the name it didn't sound like something I would watch, but now I will have to check it out.

I have to say if I just saw the name and didn't see the "story" behind the name I would never even bother turning in. It is nothing like you would think it would be, quite the other extreme.

It was a Spanish language soap opera that was on a couple of years ago called Betty la Fea (Ugly betty). It will be interesting to see how they change it to suit English speaking audiences.

I love America Ferrera. Especially in Real Women Have Curves. She was awesome in it. She played a very different character in Lordz of Dogtown. I always say she is part of the INDY movie brat pack.

I watched a few of those novela shows. The American version looks to me to be pretty different.

I agree that it looks totally diff. My mom used to watch Betty la fea and she really liked it. It looks like the ABC one will be all cutesy.

Not sure if I'm going to watch it yet or not. I guess it depends what else is on during that timeslot.
