Great Sci Fi review
Thanks Stefy!
Quick question, i noticed that you stayed at CSR for you trip. What did you think of it? This is where we booked, and it took about 3 weeks of going back and forth to decide where to stay so I hope we will not be disappointed by our decision.
Cheers!
I loved CSR, but make sure you look at the resort map and know whereabouts you want to stay at...I knew I wanted to be close to the workout room and the the laundry room, so I requested a room in any of the 5 Casitas...this resort is HUGE and it can get somewhat tiresome having to walk all over the place, after you've been walking around the parks...it would SUCK having to walk to the Food Court area to get refills in our mugs, even though the walk was 5-7 mins each way, because we would do this a few times a day...
Other than that, it always felt like we had the whole resort to ourselves because the resort was so spaced out, and hardly ran into any other guests, which was nice for a change!!
You'll LOVE CSR!!
I know what a small world. We were in 2510 and had a view of the park. Not the best view as we had a corner room but it was still great. Wouldn't that have been funny if we were in the same elevator. It was a great trip and we had a lot of fun. I like being so close to the Mouse even though we flew this trip. We live in Sacramento.
I love the Sci-Fi review. I love that place just for the environment. It is so cool. My kids love the movies in there and it is a great place to take a long break from the park.
And, I'm totally with you on Mexican food. We go through total withdrawls by the end of the trip in WDW because we haven't had a taco or burritto in days. Do you guys like pupusas? My all time favorite even though they are not Mexican.
Here are some pictures I took of the GCV room and resort. We were there such a short period of time I really didn't get to explore the resort as much as I like to.

The last time I stayed there, DH and I also had a parkview, and it was really nice..i'll have to post that later...this last time we just needed a standard room, and our view was overlooking the inner courtyard, where the monorail comes through so that was kinda neat!

That does sound like quite a drive from Sac...because I think from where I live it's about 3-31/2 hours to get to Sac, and from here to Anaheim it take a little under 3 1/2 hours to get there...so you would have a nice drive ahead of you..
The atmosphere of Sci-Fi is very relaxing and soothing compared to the bustling of DHS...so it was nice to be able to kind of put ourselves back together again! lol
As soon as we got back into Cali, we got some authentic Mexican food for dinner that night!

I was dying!!! And I've never heard of pupusas...what is that?? I love enchiladas, sopes, tacos, burritos, etc, etc! The list is endless!!!
Yay, another fun and entertaining review by Leshaface!!!
I'm so glad you reviewed Sci-Fi. We have a lunch ADR there in July, and it sounds wonderful! I figured the boys would enjoy eating inside a car! We are also going to 50s Prime Time for lunch since we have 2 days at DHS. I have heard good things about 50s PT also.
Nothing like a good burger!!! They look pretty tasty if you ask me, and I think this will be one fatty meal for me too!!!
Omgosh your boys are going to love it!! I can see kids having a blast with the whole ambiance of going to a drive-in! I really hope you'll post some of your pics from your trip and your dining experiences!!!
Girl, we deserve to have a fatty meal every once in a while!!! We're psychos when it comes to health, so let loose and go crazy!!!
What's the next review?!?!?! Come on! I'm impatient and need a way to pass time away while I'm class!!!! CHOP CHOP MISSY!
Pebbles...naughty, naughty!! You should be using your time more wisely in class..you know, like, studying!!! And you have guts to be saying this in front of teachers who are on this thread!!
