fab review there, we enjoyed Sci-fi theme.
glad you change your mind and had a great meal :thumbsup2

Now, our waiter, J-Christop(that’s what it says on the receipt), was explaining the various cheeses on my plate, but I got so caught up in his accent that I really didn’t care…J-Christop, you can talk to me all day…he probably could have sold me a car and I wouldn't have known! :rotfl: So let me see if I can explain the cheeses myself and maybe you guys can help me out here! Lol!!!

Ok, seriously, you are my sistah from anothah mistah, I tell ya...we went to Chefs on the last meal of our trip and I will say this...the waiter could've sold me ketchup popsicles if I were wearing white gloves in Antarctica...yea...just sayin'...right there with ya Sister Sledge...

Crazy fool, I tell ya!

This is the same show I spilled my very VERY red (did I say very RED) Frozen Cosmo on my brand new EPCOT sweatshirt. I was so enthralled with taking a pic of the drink with the guys balancing on those dang chairs, I spilled...RED Cosmo...down...my...brand new...sweatshirt. But I did save most of the drink so by the time I reached Canada, I could have cared less about the spill :lmao: (especially after Frozen cocktail #2) :cool1: :rotfl2:

Don't these look divine?? YES!!! I want to go back RIGHT. NOW. :goodvibes:goodvibes

Any questions? “Yeah I have a question. Does Barry Manilow know you raid his wardrobe?” (Breakfast Club) Haha!! :lmao:

OMGAWSH...one of my fav line quoting movies right there!!!!

Nice job Lesha, bb!!! Now onto the next installment so I can get all caught up ;)

My facebook status says, I should not watch television programmes about desserts when you have gestational diabetes.

It should say I should not read this report when I have gestational diabetes.

Although I did just cheat a little bit and had the most tiniest amount of rum and raisin ice cream.

Kirsten

:rotfl: Love your status!!! And rum and raisin ice cream??? That sounds DELICIOUS!!!! I've never heard of such a concoction!!!

I'm glad you gave a good review to Sci-Fi. This is on my to-do list when my youngest gets out of a high-chair. It looks like a fun place to eat with basic {fatty} food -- what more can you ask for?:rotfl2:

:lmao: Wasn't that the worst meal ever!?!? I mean think about it...the only colors on my plates were brown and tan!!! No colors whatsoever!!...well unless you count the cherry on top of my sundae!!! :rotfl2: what the heck I'll count it, it's Disney World after all!!

We love the burgers at Sci Fi!!!:thumbsup2

They really were fantastic!!!

fab review there, we enjoyed Sci-fi theme.

Omgosh sooo glad I changed my mind!!! I'm wondering if I should give 50's Prime Time a shot?! What do you think??:confused3

:thumbsup2 Great review of Sci-Fi Diner! I am looking forward to that ressie now!

Ooh goody!!! You should DEFINITELY be looking forward to it!!! :thumbsup2

Where is the freaking tag fairy on this one!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl2:

Seriously this was freakin hilarious!!!

Haha!! I'm glad you were a sport about your alcoholic-splayed-sweathshirt...a true champ right there just drinks another one!! :thumbsup2

And as for the Breakfast Club quote...I LOVE the Breakfast Club!!!! My brother and I are ALWAYS quoting lines from this movie...one of my other fav quotes..."You load up, you party....no, no we get dressed up.." :lmao:

:welcome: to the DIS!! I'm so glad you like my reviews!!! Uggh, I know what you mean about waiting until lunch to read....I hate when i'm writing for all these wonderful restaurants and then I have to go home to eat my lunch which consists of a crappy sandwich or sub-par salad! BLAH!!! :rotfl:

Ooh so your first 'official' trip is coming up in a few months!!! :cool1: How exciting!!! You're gonna be hooked, I guarantee it!!!

And yes PLEASEEE do a Dining Trip Report!!! I would love to see your pics and hear about what you ate!!!

Sci-Fi coming up!!!:cool1:

I was literally going INSANO without my photobucket pictures!!! So now we'll just have to wait and see how long before my pictures can't be seen anymore....:scared1:

Oh no way?! Same time, and at the GCH?? So funny! We probably were in the same elevator and had NO idea!!! Did you have a nice trip? I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of crowds this trip!!! It was so nice!!!

Quick question, i noticed that you stayed at CSR for you trip. What did you think of it? This is where we booked, and it took about 3 weeks of going back and forth to decide where to stay so I hope we will not be disappointed by our decision.

Cheers!

I know what a small world. We were in 2510 and had a view of the park. Not the best view as we had a corner room but it was still great. Wouldn't that have been funny if we were in the same elevator. It was a great trip and we had a lot of fun. I like being so close to the Mouse even though we flew this trip. We live in Sacramento.

I love the Sci-Fi review. I love that place just for the environment. It is so cool. My kids love the movies in there and it is a great place to take a long break from the park.

And, I'm totally with you on Mexican food. We go through total withdrawls by the end of the trip in WDW because we haven't had a taco or burritto in days. Do you guys like pupusas? My all time favorite even though they are not Mexican.

Here are some pictures I took of the GCV room and resort. We were there such a short period of time I really didn't get to explore the resort as much as I like to.

Yay, another fun and entertaining review by Leshaface!!! :)

I'm so glad you reviewed Sci-Fi. We have a lunch ADR there in July, and it sounds wonderful! I figured the boys would enjoy eating inside a car! We are also going to 50s Prime Time for lunch since we have 2 days at DHS. I have heard good things about 50s PT also.

Nothing like a good burger!!! They look pretty tasty if you ask me, and I think this will be one fatty meal for me too!!! :lmao:

What's the next review?!?!?! Come on! I'm impatient and need a way to pass time away while I'm class!!!! CHOP CHOP MISSY!

Great Sci Fi review :thumbsup2

Thanks Stefy!

I loved CSR, but make sure you look at the resort map and know whereabouts you want to stay at...I knew I wanted to be close to the workout room and the the laundry room, so I requested a room in any of the 5 Casitas...this resort is HUGE and it can get somewhat tiresome having to walk all over the place, after you've been walking around the parks...it would SUCK having to walk to the Food Court area to get refills in our mugs, even though the walk was 5-7 mins each way, because we would do this a few times a day...

Other than that, it always felt like we had the whole resort to ourselves because the resort was so spaced out, and hardly ran into any other guests, which was nice for a change!!

You'll LOVE CSR!!:lovestruc

The last time I stayed there, DH and I also had a parkview, and it was really nice..i'll have to post that later...this last time we just needed a standard room, and our view was overlooking the inner courtyard, where the monorail comes through so that was kinda neat! :thumbsup2 That does sound like quite a drive from Sac...because I think from where I live it's about 3-31/2 hours to get to Sac, and from here to Anaheim it take a little under 3 1/2 hours to get there...so you would have a nice drive ahead of you..

The atmosphere of Sci-Fi is very relaxing and soothing compared to the bustling of DHS...so it was nice to be able to kind of put ourselves back together again! lol

As soon as we got back into Cali, we got some authentic Mexican food for dinner that night! :rotfl: I was dying!!! And I've never heard of pupusas...what is that?? I love enchiladas, sopes, tacos, burritos, etc, etc! The list is endless!!!

Omgosh your boys are going to love it!! I can see kids having a blast with the whole ambiance of going to a drive-in! I really hope you'll post some of your pics from your trip and your dining experiences!!!

Girl, we deserve to have a fatty meal every once in a while!!! We're psychos when it comes to health, so let loose and go crazy!!! :lmao:

What's the next review?!?!?! Come on! I'm impatient and need a way to pass time away while I'm class!!!! CHOP CHOP MISSY!

Pebbles...naughty, naughty!! You should be using your time more wisely in class..you know, like, studying!!! And you have guts to be saying this in front of teachers who are on this thread!! :lmao:

So true about deserving a fatty meal sometimes!! We gotta live too!

As far as Pebbles doing this in class...I am so desensitized to the fact that the kids are texting all the time in class, that this didn't even phase me!! They're not supposed to have cell phones in the building at all (chancellor's regulation), but EVERY one of them has it anyway and they all text in class! If I had a penny for every time I said to a student, "Put the phone away", I would be able to retire now and I'm only 32!!! :rotfl:

So todays my birthday!!! :cool1: You know what that means!?!? Presents!!! :yay: oh, and i'm also another year older...:sad2: Haha Jk! I don't mind saying i'm 26 years young...I've heard the older you get, the hotter you look so bring on 30!!! :rotfl2:

So because today's my birthday, I'm not gonna be around for a few days, which means you're gonna have to wait for my next review.. I know, how will you live without me right?! Well, if you must, you can send presents to this address...:rotfl:

My wonderful DH has offered to take me up to Modesto tomorrow to go shopping at my all time FAVORITE store, H&M!!! :woohoo: And tonight we're having a family dinner at an awesome little pub!

Uggh, I can't believe I only have two more places to review! I think i'm using my birthday as an excuse to put off writing my other reviews, because that means my review is coming to an end!!! :guilty: So sad!!

Perhaps as a present, you folks can get together and send me to WDW again, so that I can make a brand, spanking-new Dining TR!!!!

Happy Birthday!!! Hope you have a fab day shopping :)

HAPPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! And no worries about me not paying attention in class. I do, and I still do well, but sometimes I can only listen to the teacher with his double lisp so much! Okay, well I'm going to go back to twiddling my thumbs. Maybe you can do a TR of your birthday excitement after you're out of dining reviews!

Happy Birthday!!! Hope it's a great one!!! I can't wait for your next review, and I am definitely sad that they are almost over!

I have to say our school has a pretty effective policy (although not perfect by any stretch of the imagination! lol). If we see or hear a phone the student is sent down to the office with it and has to pick it up at the end of the day. If it happens again, a parent has to come in and pick it up...and so on. I have to say I've gotten pretty good with the cell phone-detecting radar :rotfl: The most ridiculous is when a girl's cell phone rings, I say, "Hand it over," and out it comes from down the front of her shirt (and we're only talking 8th grade here)...I mean, seriously?!

We have a similar policy ("we" meaning NYC public schools), except it is not implemented nearly enough. For some reason the kids (in all the schools, not just mine...even where they have metal detectors...my school does not have those) think this regulation means nothing so a good 95-99% of them (no exaggeration) STILL have cell phones on them, and most of those kids use them while in class. It would be impossible to teach if we took away every single cell phone we heard or saw. So, basically, if the kid has it out and we tell them to put it away and they take it out again, we then take it away. But I call a Dean and make them take it away...then the parent has to come up and get it. We all understand to an extent...we know some of these kids travel far to get to school, and that even for the kids who only walk a few blocks, anything can still happen...so they feel more secure if they have a cell phone. But we don't have metal detectors in my school...if their phone is off and inside their schoolbag I don't know it is there...and they still have it when they travel to and from school. But the kids who just don't care and use them when they feel like it, it's irritating sometimes.

Hee-hee, there's a small little b-day cake for you, my fellow dessert-lover! ;)

Only 2 more reviews? You will just have to go back...hey, you can review the little pub you're going to for your b-day, or you can review the family dinner tonight! :lmao:

Enjoy!!!!
