Ugh what do I do now?

We were going to WDW with 2 other families and made like 7 ADR for 13 people .. yesterday one family had to cancel for financial reasons though. Now I don't know what to do as all the restaurants are pretty full and I doubt we can rebook for 9 people and give up our large table. Should we just show up with 9 people for a 13 person reservation? Will it be honored? Do all 13 have to show up before they'll seat us? Also what about CRT that I reserved with my credit card? Would they charge for the 4 people that don't show? I think I'm going to be on the phone a long time with disney today lol.

I think if you booked for 13, they will allow you to reduce to 9. For the CRT, if you show up with 9 people, they have the right to charge for 13. They may be nice and not, but I would definetly change that ADR.

I had this problem a couple of years back. Dining told me to just leave any ressies that did not have a credit card attached, but the ones that did, I have to re-book. Luckily one of mine was not a tough one to get like CRT. I would call and talk to Disney Dining about it for the ones with the credit cards.

I would leave all of your adr's and just show up except for Cindy's. Call and see if there is anything available before you tell them that you want to change anything. If it is available then book it and cancle the other right after. If it is not available then you have to think about how important it is to lose the deposit for 4 people. If I really wanted to eat ther eit might be worth the loss of the deposit especially if there are children looking forward to it.

I just had the same situation a week or 2 ago - we were originally 18 people and went down to 10 people. Changing a reservation to fewer people is no problem, increasing the number can be depending on how crowded the restaurant is. I had no problem changing 5 reservations and it didn't take much time at all. And by changing the reservation you free up space for others. Enjoy your vacation!
