For the second time in three weeks I have thrown my back out :sad2: . How'd I do it? By picking up/carrying babies! I work in early childcare in the infant room, ages 6 weeks to 18 months. I love my job, but who would have guessed it could be hazardous to my health lol!

Oh, a bad back....that is a terrible affliction. You need to bend at the knees not at the waist when picking the children up from now on. I once threw my back out by turning the wrong way with a file box in my hands. I couldn't walk down the hallways without agony with every step I took. It was 2 months before it felt better. Hope yours is of shorter duration. :grouphug:

got a good chiro? hope so! feel better!

I'm right there with ya. Find a good chiro and start a good exercise program after you've rested your back well and it feels relatively normal. Can you switch to the big kids room for awhile or is it too small of a daycare?

I'm so sorry to hear that. Back pain is awful. Get well soon. :grouphug:

I blame the moms of the fat babys :teeth:

Lol! This time it was a chubby wubby that did it, but I was getting up from a rocking chair. The first one (well not the first time really) was picking up a skinny minnie. My husband has a chiropractor, but I'm not that bad yet.
