ugggg just dinged still just fares thru 3/31

Do they love tormenting us? I turned on the feature that my pc will make a noise so I rushed over to see what the noise was and I saw that I was dinged. I checked "enabled audio notification" last night to see what that was and it will make a noise when you get dinged. Still no ding for late June. Now the decision should I gamble and wait for a few more weeks or should I play it safe and pay the 200 dollars round trip from Toledo to Sanford? I was hoping to fly from Detroit to Orlando and have the cheaper fares from these airport services to get me to the Dolphin. These fares was good till 4pm Central time so will that be the only ding today?

If you go ahead and book thru SW and then later get a better fare thru them (DING or otherwise), you just re-book and they credit you the difference. So if peace of mind is important, book now and then keep checking the DINGS for a deal.

If you have had Ding for just a short time...they did have a few days of Dings specifically to Orlando with dates through June 9. So, the chances of really low Dings might be lower.

But as the above poster mentioned you can cancel and rebook your fares if you get a lower one..

Our trip is May 15 - May 23 and there still weren't any dings for our departure city (Nashville)! I'm hanging on to the hope that they'll have great Florida fares during one of their upcoming system-wide specials. Last year, I never did get a decent ding, but on their website, I nabbed the $39 each way fare! I booked in March for our May 2005 trip.
