Uber vs Express Disney Transporation

Is there a thread that compares and contrasts the differences?

What do you prefer and why ?

The express bus saves you walking to the front of the park, and waiting to go thru security & the turnstiles at the destination park; Uber/Lyft do not. In addition, for the MK Uber/Lyft would require getting to or from TTC or CR.

The advantage of Uber/Lyft are that you can usually get a car within 5 minutes, or 10 at most -- but the time saving may be lost because of the above points. They may cost less than the express bus, depending on how many times you plan to hop and how many in your party.

If you have children requiring a child seat, the express bus would be a better option.

There is no comparison, they don't provide the same services.
Express Transportation will win in all cases.

While Uber is faster than the traditional buses (especially if you request as you are on the ferry from MK or walking out to the parking lot from any other park) it will not compare to Express transportation. The big reason being Express if you time it correctly means you do not have to go back through security a second time. As long as you are getting to that bus stop before the bus arrives (I think they say 5-15 minutes before) then you should be good and because you are backstage at the other park you are already getting a heads up to where you will be going.
