Uber or a lift with kids?

Hi all, with no more minnivans and buses with limited capacity we are considering Uber or Lyft to get us to the parks early in the morning at least one hour prior to opening. What is everyone’s experience doing this with little ones, we have one child that would need a car seat and the other two would need booster seats. Is this something you select when picking a Lyft or Uber? I am assuming that the car Services in Disney even individuals working for Uber or lift would typically have these items. Curious to hear everyone’s experience! Thank you so much.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but Uber and Lyft do not carry car seats and boosters in their cars. Your only option would be to rent a car and bring or rent your own car seats or use Disney busses.

Buses are going to be your best bet in this case, needing a car seat and two boosters. Otherwise I highly recommend renting a car and either bringing the car seats or renting them locally.

Sorry, but only half true. There are some Ubers available with a car seat, but only one seat. No Lyft vehicles have this option.

OP, if you need THREE seats, you’re out of luck. Stick to buses.

FCDub is correct. There are some UberX and some UberXL (which is what you would need) with ONE car seat. But even if you bring two Bubblebum or similar boosters, you are creating a very burdensome transportation problem for yourself.

You have three small children. You are going to be moving slowly and awkwardly in the best of conditions. Don't make it even worse than it is. Modify your schedule to accommodate s...l...o...w movement everywhere you go, and don't try to do too much. Too much will only generate burnouts and meltdowns, which will make everything much more difficult and much less enjoyable.

Take it slow and easy, and have a great time!
