Uber now at DS Mktplace

Guys,

Just received email from Uber corporate that we are now authorized to pick up & drop off at the old Marketplace bus loop at DS. Drivers have to wait around the corner until they get a call, so it will take a few minutes for your ride to show up even when there are cars waiting & ready.

The old pickup in the Strawberry parking lot on the West Side is also still available.

Probably around $8 for up to 4 riders over the age of 6.

Thanks! Sounds like this might be a good optiom for our next trip. Last time we paid $20 to valet park-I can't walk too far and we were unsure how far we'd be if we were in the parking garage. And unfortuntely, even though valet parking is free at the resorts with a Handicap placard, not so at Disney Springs.

Does the app make it easy to select which pick up spot you want?

It should. When I have been anywhere with Uber you can always pick the pin up and drop it off where you want. At the parks, sporting venues, and airports they usually have you confirm your pick up on a drop down menu so I hope they add that for Disney Springs.

That is excellent news!

Last October, we started at the West Side since that's where the busses drop off but all we kept saying was how much of a PIA it was to walk all the way back and how we wished Uber would pick up by the Marketplace.
