Sorry if this question has been asked before. My hubby, 13 year old dd and 8 year old dd will be in Disney in June. Which water park is better for a "family". I think BB looks really cool, but is it filled with a younger crowd?

Looking for opinions....thanks so much!

Hi!

I think it is a matter of opinion as to which theming you enjoy more. I personally prefer TL as the tropical theme really appeals to me. The wave pool there is fantastic....we had one of our most treasured family memories there. We all got caught off guard by one of the waves and were rolled in to the "beach" like a bunch of conch shells.......laughed until our sides hurt! Not really sure on the "family" atmosphere because they both felt very family oriented...lot's to do for every age group!

Anyway, BB is neat, but I found TL much more interesting and fun! Just one girls opinion!

I vote for Blizzard Beach....That big wave at Typhoon Lagoon is HUGE :earseek: ! The waves at BB are calmer. Also, it is the newer park, and I think you can tell. There are more slow, family type rides there (even though it is the home of Summit Plummet!). I think they improved on the water park design for BB. Don't get me wrong, we love TL too, it's just that BB gets the nod, especially with younger girls.

Whichever park you choose, it will be crowded in June, so just know that going in and enjoy! :flower:

:wizard: I haven't been to either one in a while, but from what I have heard BB is better with kids. TL is supposed to be more relaxing and laid back, so you have to see what kind of mood your in that day. :earsboy:

::sniff sniff:: I guess I don't matter anymore :rolleyes1

I would have said BB because we have had a great time on the slides. However, I did totally freak out on the chairlift :scared1: (tell me you are surprised) to Slush Gusher & Summit Plummet...but hey, I did it so I'm pretty proud! :)

Anyway, the reviews I have read on the new slides at TL, they look really neat.

I hear rock, paper, scissors is a great way to decide things. ;)

I thought I asked you and you said you didn't go to a waterpark....I am so so so so so sorry :guilty: :sad2: :guilty: :sad2: :guilty: :sad2:
