(This post is probably meant for Tyler but others may eavesdrop)

Every now and then someone mentions it took a half hour for the bus to get out of Typhoon Lagoon.

Has WDW ever considered making the entrance lane "contraflow" for buses during those few troublesome hours? Every so often cars on Buena Vista destined for TL would be held up (more correctly shooed away) and buses only would descend in that lane, bypassing all the cars waiting in the normal exit lane.

I would think that about six CM's, some in the TL parking lot, some on Buena Vista Drive, could do a choreographed sequence to make this work. One could even ride a motorcycle or Segway up and down, tailing the last vehicle before the lane changes direction, to give the "all clear" to traffic going the other way.

(Cars shooed away from TL would "go into a holding pattern", that is, continuing out of their way and making a U-turn to try again. Buses going in would wait in the turn lanes.)

If buses were waiting in the contraflow lane, the normal exit lane may have to wait until the next light cycle.
