Typhoon Lagoon Refurb...

not sure if this is old news...it may very well be but it's new to me so i can't be the only one! .... i think....

anyway! i was looking for updates for my trip next year like what will be refurbed and what not and it looks like from January 7 through the whole month of February Typhoon Lagoon will be shut down for refurbishment not sure what they're doing but i was a little bummed since i really wanted to check it out...oh well

That is the typical closing for the year.

They "take turns" refurbishing the water parks in the winter. I think Blizzard Beach is closed most of November.

Yep, they will work on one while keeping the other one open and then do the other water park. This is usually done during a non-peak time of year.
