I stumbled upon it in my Family Fun magazine and it looks like a great vacation spot. Its all inclusive and pricey, but it looks like there is a never ending supply if things to do. Anyone ever go, is it worth the high price tag (especially since I can compare the cost to WDW)?

We've been twice. It's wonderful. The kids happily go to group from 8:30-1:30 (they get snacks and meals and all kinds of activities), while the parents can sign up for things like yoga/pilates class, mountain biking, trips to wineries in nearby Quebec, massages, work out in the gym, or you can just lay in a hammock right next to the lake. The families are together for the afternoon, then the kids go back to group until about 8:30 while all the parents meet for cocktails and dinner(no kids allowed in the dining room). The food is fantastic, lots of fresh local ingredients. They also have activities at night for the parents and any of the counselors are more than happy to babysit (they have DJ night, bonfire/singalong, champagne cruise on the lake). There's places to swim right in Lake Champlain, plus there's an indoor and outdoor pool. Everyone gets a bike upon arrival, or you can bring your own. It's very fun and social; everyone switches around each meal so you're eating and talking with different people all the time. The kids all seem to like it. I'd contact them soon, as most families return year after year. Please PM me if you have any questions.

I have never been, but my next door neighbors will be headed there this summer for the 3rd straight year. They love it!

Which is why we don't go. I don't want to have to be "on" for dinner every night.

BUT I have a friend that goes every single year- for at least 15 years now. They love it! And say it's like summer camp for grown ups.

To us it seemed like the kids were spending a lot of time away from you and for us family vacation is to spend more time together- However I have never been and could be completely wrong about that too! Maybe you can just hang out. I'll be watching this thread to hear what others have to say about it.

Do the kids have to be signed up and go everyday? It sounds great but I don't want to go and have my kids spend most of their time without us and vice versa. If they can pick and choose daily activities that would be fine but I don't think I like the idea of them being gone all morning and then again in the evening everyday. I want to do (most) everything together.

Thats definitely a concern for me. This is the type of place that I want our whole family to enjoy together. If I wanted just dh and I, we'd be going somewhere tropical ;)
