I wanna try to do some character breakfast with my wife and me. I went to them as a kid, the princess one in the Norway, Cinderellas castle, crystal palace, little Einsteins, 1900 park fare, i think thats it... But anyways, I wanna go again with my wife, no kids, but i feel like the other families would be like "what are they doing here?" cause their are families that go who dont understand the magic. I'm ranting. Basically how does everyone else feel about this? I just want some other people to back me on this. Cause i am going just errr i wish i could express my self more. if anyone gets what i'm saying please reply thanks :):):cool2:

My DH and I (he's 55, I'm 50) go every year to a character breakfast and our kids no longer travel with us (both in college--ages 22 and 19). We have never felt out of place, silly or weird in any way. The Crystal Palace one is our favorite because I love the Pooh characters (Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet appear besides Pooh) and we always get our pictures taken with all of them. We've also done Chef Mickey's by ourselves, but this year we will be trying Cape May Cafe with Minnie and Chip and Dale. Go...you'll have a blast, and the characters will stop and see you and pose for pictures if you so choose.

We go to character meals all the time! I'm 25, and my boyfriend will be 24 in March. We went in October with my brother and his GF - they are both 20 - and we always have a great time! We went to LTT with Pluto, Minnie, Goofy, Chip & Dale. We also did Ohana with Lilo & Stitch, and Crystal Palace with the Winnie-the-Pooh characters. Character meals are always the most fun! :thumbsup2 We have never had anyone look at as strangely, or give us trouble. But we're having so much fun we would probably wouldn't notice anyway!

I actually went to one of these solo last year. I had a charachter breakfast at Cape May and enjoyed every minute of it. Chip 'N' Dale came to my table several times as did Goofy and Minnie. I decided to go it, because it was near the end of breakfast service, I decided to sllep in that day, I was staying at the Beach Club and was the most convenient choice. No regrets. Go for it.

I'm going solo next month and am going to Cp . I didn't book many character meals as I wanted to try different restaurants as I went with family and teh GKS last time so we did a lot of character meals. Being an adult or solo wouldn't stop me doing a character meal!!
