I had this exact question last night! We will have a 1 yr old and a 3 yr old. The 3 yr old is very used to the stroller, so I know he wouldn't be walking all the time. If we want to split up and go to two different parks, the option of umbrella strollers is nice. But, I dont' want to be pushing an empty stroller around either.
I think we've decided to take the sit n stand. DH is too tall to push the umbrella strollers much anyway, and we know our kids will use the joovy. If we do split up across parks, one can just rent a stroller there if it's really needed.
I do worry about the bulk on the busses, mostly at closing time when the busses are packed. Oh, my other reason for not taking 2 strollers is that if both kids fall asleep on the bus, how do I carry 2 kids and 2 strollers? I can carry the 1 year old and wheel the joovy around.
Basically, it came down to my confidence of handling the joovy in more situations.
