Thanks Kari! We are pretty excited since all of these are brand spankin' new for us, even though we have been to BOG it was for lunch so I'm considering dinner there new

It could have been disastrous if I hadn't realized my mistake the night before. See I thought I was all ready and prepared to start my ADR quest bright and early on Sunday morning when Friday night at precisely 10:30 pm I realized my window opened up on Saturday, not Sunday!

OH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

While I was at work on Friday I decided I would rather stay at WL for the whole trip and cancelled my room only res at Pop for our arrival night and tacked on the extra night to our WL stay. Cool, it's only $$ right?

You can't take it with you, but you can always make more of it!!!!

I'm so excited for 2016 to get rolling because this is the year of some awesome vacations!

Of topic Real life update.. Things are pretty much set for the London trip in April, I can't believe we will be crossing the big pond in 3 1/2 months! My parents have done most of the planning of this trip, which is ok with me. Normally I'm an obsessive planner of all things vacation but have let them take the reigns on this one so I can concentrate on Disney stuff!

So just a couple of tweaks on the June trip..
My son received a couple of Landry's gift cards for Christmas which is kind of weird and random and awesome all wrapped into one, so naturally I suggest we use them in June...
Hence the addition of a Yak and Yeti lunch ADR on our AK day and while I was looking I just might have happened to accidentally on purpose make an ADR at Kona Cafe for some sushi before heading back to MK for some (hopefully) PM EMH's that day.
Oh! And I finally booked our outgoing flight . We decided to bite the bullet and go ahead and purchase at least the first leg of the journey because I wanted to make sure I got the flight time we wanted. We have a 10:15am flight that gets us into MCO @3:50! 7 whole hours earlier than I had originally planned! Anyone say arrival day drinks at Disney Springs??

So our lineup now looks like this

Thursday 6/2 arrive at MCO at 3:50 and hop on the good 'ol ME to WL then probably check out the new and improved Disney Springs that evening

Friday 6/3 MK in the morning, Epcot in the afternoon. Beaches and Cream 8:30pm

Saturday 6/4 AK EMH. Yak & Yeti lunch high noon. Back to WL for pool time. Kona Cafe for sushi and an adult beverage in a pineapple 6:30pm

Sunday 6/5 HS EMH, then probably take the slow boat to Epcot early afternoon then back to WL for a rest/swim until drinks around the monorail and Cali Grill at 8:45

Monday 6/6 CP pre park opening breakfast 8:05. BOG 7:30

Tuesday 6/7 Whispering Canyon Cafe 9:30 am and hopefully sleep all the way home because it looks like we won't be getting much while we are there!

Not much has changed for the September trip except that I changed our Poly SV reservation to a Studio Villa and I have successfully talked DH into buying Annual passes for this year

Now I have to get my behind back to work so I can give Disney all our money

I'm very lucky that my parents are still very active, and pretty hip and cool to boot. They have a way of vacationing in England that they have named the "pub and pee touring plan" you know, visit a pub, use the loo, repeat.

The decision to go AP was all math involved, really, since he has a 4 day trip next month with our youngest, I have a 4 day trip in June with my oldest and we have a 7 day trip in September and I have another tentative trip next April with the middle kid it just made sense. maybe we can sneak in a quick trip after next Christmas to see the holiday decorations! With annual passes it will be a LOT easier to talk him into using them! ( insert ulterior motive here)

Your plans for your June trip sound great! You've got some great ADRs. Beaches and Cream is so fun. Y&Y, Cali Grill, LTT, and BOG dinner are all on my ever expanding ADR list, too. I love, love the WL. I hope you enjoy it.

Aww shucks guys.....it's a very unusual year for us to have so many big trips planned, it just happened that my oldest daughter's high school graduation and our 10th anniversary fell in the same year, so that's how it happened. It takes a LOT of saving and discipline fo sho!
