Kelly, your post is calling my name. Food, stretch pants, yak attack, and more FOOD. What isn't there to love?????? Looks like you have some great meals planned. We fell in love with hoop on our last trip, so hopefully you all enjoy it as much as we did. And love all the time you have at WL, our favorite resort. Artist point is amazing and we also had a great breakfast at Whispering Canyon. Loved, loved, loved the pork eggs benedict. Though I'm still partial to Kona and GFC breakfasts.

On the hotel front I was going to suggest you look into staying at the Hyatt at the airport. We did this last time and saved some $$$ and were still at Poly by 9am the next day. Though with a pre-park, ADR sounds like that may not work.

It's hard to believe it's getting so close! I didn't post about what FP we got, its pretty standard stuff, 7DMT, Splash and PP Flight for most of our MK days since BTMRR will be down for refurb. TSMM for HS days and we snagged a Frozen EE for Epcot instead of Soarin. I hate how they do the tiered system there. But crowd levels so far look pretty managable so hopefully standby won't be too heinous!

Mmmmmm, stretchy pants. I think I now need stretchy tops too! But I've been caught in a potato chip rut, which I plan to crawl out of soon!

I'm excited too, I loved WL when my son and I went to check it out in June. We will be spending 2 nights there in early Dec doing a split stay with BWV. So excited!

That's a really great idea, and I might be doing this or my mom/daughter trip at the end of Feb. We had a pretty good credit with Hotels.com that we used to book our arrival night at POFQ so we only had to pay like $65 OOP. Every time I've checked out the Hyatt it's like $300/night I guess that's still cheaper than the Poly. How does that work when you stay at Hyatt MCO on arrival day and the ME? Do you just make up fake flight info for early morning when you want to hop on the Magical Express the next day?

I know! Me too. There is a slight possibility that I may be there the night before but not until late, depending on how the flight situation works out. Right now airfares are pretty high so I'm waiting it out to see what happens. If we do fly in the 24th we will probably do an arrival night somewhere affordable like ASMovies or something. Looks like you have some GREAT ADRs lined up!

I'm interested to see what you think of Sci-Fi vs Prime time. I had trouble choosing between the two. I wanted to do it for my Dad who loves a lot of retro things and also really likes Sci-Fi. So we aren't really there for the food so much as the experience. Plus we have food allergies which puts another whole spin on everything. Because of the "home cooking" menu, I thought that maybe Prime Time would have a lot of gluten and dairy in everything and make it harder. But now, of course, I'm second guessing myself.

We had a hard time choosing as well, so that's why we decided to do both! I didn't even have Sci-Fi on my list until DH saw pics of it and was all " why aren't we going there?" So I squeezed it in. Looks like fun though.

That must make it kinda difficult. But I've read that Disney does a pretty dang good job with food allergies if you let them know your situation.

Awww . Hi Liesa! Sorry I have been kinda inactive lately, but it's starting to get exciting! We are fast approaching our 30 day mark I've been working lots and getting the kiddos back in school is always an adjustment!

I promise I have not abandoned this PTR. Everything's great, staying busy at work, life is good!
It's just that well, there's not a whole lot to report right now!
I've tweaked a couple of ADR's ( you can pick yourself up off the floor from your shock and amazement now), mainly I cancelled Citrico's and replaced it with Narcoossee's and replaced that with the newly re-imagined Flying Fish, which I've heard nothing but good reviews about.

I've also successfully made ADR's for my mom/DD February trip and have been chatting with @Elevationist and @chunkymonkey about a DISmeet for Feb. yea!!

We have purchased our MNSSHP tickets (attending 10/2) and our MVMCP tickets for December and are giving the bank account CPR.

I'm most likely not going to do a PTR for the December trip or the Feb. trip, I feel like I've drawn this one out long enough! It's been over a year since I started this baby, can't believe it!

Sorry it's been a bit of a snooze fest lately!

So a great big high five and thanks to those of you that have stuck with me. We are less than 30 days away now and I'm getting really excited!

We leave DEN at 3:00pm on the 28th and should arrive at MCO by 8:30, giving us plenty of time to hit the QS for dinner at POFQ where we are staying for arrival night, then we may try to go to MK that night since they have EMH until 1:00am. I'd also like to give a shoutout to Southwest Airlines for the free drink coupons they sent me in the mail, I'll be sure to put those to good use.

So to those of you that are traveling soon I wish you safe travels and lots of pixie dust!
