Two trips are better than one! A June and September 2016 PTR-new trip report link

Shall I hold you to this??

Nope!

But it is an indication of desire, if not certainty.
There's a distinct possibility of Japan in two years. If that happens, then everything else stops.

And we are planning on Guam sometime in the next year or so. But, my long-range travel forecast is one "bigger" trip a year and maybe at least 1 annual trek to DLR (super cheap flights from here) and of course, the requisite camping. My ultimate bucket list place is West Africa.

Funny the DH and I were just talking about DLR this morning! It's so much cheaper and quicker to get there from here also. The Disney hotels there are pricey but it's so awesome how everything is so compact compared to DW. Perhaps a DLR group trip in the future???

Oh yes! Yes, yes, please!

999 happy posts!

Hi guys! :wave2:

This post is # 999 for me :cool1: I've had a blast thus far getting to know you all plus not to mention getting to chat about my favorite subject, Disney!

We recently had a major overhaul on our ADR plans, the DH and I sat down together and re-arranged a bunch of stuff, so much that I can't even remember what my original plan was or what the plan is now :confused3
But I think we are just going to show up and eat:rotfl:

And I have some other fun news to report
In order to get the most out of that annual pass burning a hole in my pocket I have booked another trip! This one will be a mother/ Daughter trip with my DD18. We will be there Feb. 25-March 2, just in time to catch the beginning of F&G! Epcot is her fav park so she has chosen to stay at the BC and I got a pretty good deal renting points at the BCV! This will be another new resort for us and I'm excited to see what it's like staying on the Epcot side.

Hope all is well with everyone!
:dumbo:

Happy 999th post. And to think you didn't look a post over 998 :P

Congrats on your trip with your daughter. I swear everyone seems to be going that week. We wanted to (for Casey's b-day and princess half for the hubby) but our annual passes expire on the 22nd and we aren't renewing this year. Hate I'm gonna miss so many peeps

OH that is exciting! My 21 year old won't be able to go this time, so, I'm actually hoping to take her on a M/D trip too next year! Hopefully with some other ladies so we can split room cost. We'll see. And how perfect to stay at the BC! Since you'll be going to EPCOT a lot, it'll be great to use my priv..., erm, THE backdoor.

999 posts is exciting! See how many friends you've already made? The DIS can really be a wonderful place. :)

And yes, showing up to eat... I like your style, Girl!

Thanks! Funny but I feel like I keep missing everyone by just a few days? :confused3 Are you bummed that you aren't renewing your AP's this year?

But of course - a moth

It will be a great trip but DD 18 is anything but princessy! :rotfl:More tomboy

Nice! That should be fun!

I'm looking forward to it!

I'm excited to try the BC. And the walk to Epcot is going to be awesome!

I am so thrilled for you. That area is somewhere I've really wanted to stay...I look forward to hearing about it. I think that having an AP...just makes it so easy to want to book as many trips as you can so you feel like you are getting your money's worth....maybe one year I will get one just to see how that goes...Looking forward to hearing more about your eating plans too!

Aw thank you Kathy! Having the AP this year has been both great and scary...for the bank account! I'm feeling very indulgent with all the trips we have booked for this year, it's definately not the norm for us. But as long as DH is in board I'm a happy girl! Oh there's gonna be some food involved in this next trip for sure!!

A bit bummed but its an intentional decision. Our 10th anniversary is next September so planning a big trip for that and while we love the world want to do something different. Right now we're thinking Hawaii with maybe a trip to Disneyland on the way to or from, but nothing definitive yet.

Hi Kelly! Just wandering over to make sure I"m caught up. Been SUPER busy, but trying to stay connected here too. Hope you're enjoying your weekend!

Hi Liesa! My weekend just started since we always work Saturdays.... Boo! But so far it's great! Vodka and lemonade to kick it off! Hope yours is great as well! Thanks for checking in!!

Gotcha! I totally get that! Hawaii with a stop at Disneyland sounds fantastic!!

Good morning peeps!

We are under 60 days now until it's go for lunch, Er I mean launch :hyper:
We did all of our FP+ yesterday and completed our online check in for our one night stay at POFQ before we check into the Poly for the week. A whole week!!!! Funny but I don't think I've ever stayed at one hotel for 7 nights in a row :confused3. I was able to convince DH to move up our flight on departure day to 3:00pm instead of 6:00 pm so I'm feeling a lot better about it. I was dreading getting to the hotel at 1:00 in the morning and then turning around and checking out. At least now we will get to POFQ around 10:00 and have time to grab something from QS for a late dinner. Even though the regular QS at POFQ is under refurb it's all good because they have a temp. QS set up with everything we would need. Oh! And I was also able to snag a coveted 8:00am BOG breakfast the next morning so we will kindly bid adeau to the FQ and say Aloha to the Poly pretty darn early so we can activate our DP. It stinks that we have to physically check in to active the DP but that's ok. Because PPO breakfast!! So with all the tweaking our ADR list looks a little somethin' like this...
BOG - Breakfast
Cape May Cafe -Dinner
Chefs de France - Lunch
Hoop De Do Review - Dinner
Yak & Yeti - lunch ( whoohoo yak attack!)
Raglan Road - Dinner
The Wave - Breakfast
Ohana - Dinner
Sci Fi Drive In Theater - lunch
Citrico's -Dinner
50's prime time cafe - Lunch
Trattoria al Forno - Dinner
Whispering Canyon Cafe -Breakfast
Artist Point - Dinner

Whew.....I had to eliminate our Kona Cafe breakfast for the BOG Breakfast but I think I'm OK with that. We may try to catch it on the fly or save it for next time, or I may rework some stuff if the perfect time comes available. I also left out Yachtsman Steakhouse because I plan on going there on my mom/daughter trip. All of these are brand new places for us to try with the exception of Y&Y, because once again Yak Attack! And we did eat at BOG for lunch on our first trip. This still leaves us with 4 dining credits each to play with so I sincerely hope we will be taking the wide body jet home :rotfl: thank goodness for walking 8-10 miles a day and stretchy pants! There are just too darn many places I want to try. I think I'd have to stay for 3 weeks to get to most everything on my list.

That's about all the updates I have for now, the days seem to be ticking away pretty quickly so it's all good!

Have a wonderful day my friends!

:ccat:

Your reservations look yummy :p

I feel that way too although in 3 weeks I'm still not sure I'd get to everything I wanted to try! :rotfl:

Good morning peeps!

Peep!

Funny but I don't think I've ever stayed at one hotel for 7 nights in a row :confused3.

Hmmm.... hmmmm......... Not sure..... Maybe....

I don't think I have either.
Might have come close once or twice.
