Day 3 MGM ,EPCOT and Olive Garden
Another early rise this morning so Leigh and I wander across the road to Walgreens , Leigh has never been before and here begins her love affair with all things Walgreens!! She was like a child in a sweety shop lol.
Then we got our hotels bus to MGM ,we were there for the opening ceremony which was great and then followed the Disney employees along the road to TOT .One really nice touch they have is that all the shop assistants are out on the street waving good morning as you walk along .lovely, cant see that catching on here tho!!
Anyway we were first in the Library for TOT having persuaded Leigh that she could go so far with us and then get the cowards lift down as she does not like heights or roller coasters. At the end when the doors open the lights came on and they announced we had all won a pair of Year of a million dreams ears, so it was a good job Leigh had come with us or she would have missed out!! Only one terrible RED NECK picture of the 3 of us sitting in the back row of TOT with the ears on as Claire thought our chances of getting another prize would be better if we did not have them on!! Greedy or what!
We then did RRC then great movie ride, and the Muppets.
So next we were off to Star Tours and again just as the doors were closing it was announced we had won dream passes! but by this time we had had enough for one day so just used the TOT pass and decided we would pass them on to some people coming into the park so we picked a party of 4 and handed them over they could not believe there luck! We then caught the boat over to the Boardwalk where we had lunch at the ESPN café we all had the chicken strips and onion rings which were delicious. We then walked over to EPCOT had a walk around the world showcase and caught the bus back up to the hotel .
In May when we were there we went to Olive Garden and absolutely loved it we actually ate there 3 times so we were so looking forward to taking Leigh and Erin ,any way we eventually get seated and we got probably the worst service we have ever had !the girl was new and her customer service skills were pretty poor , but she was probably nervous as it was her first night the food was good tho. Another wee quick Walgreens fix for Leigh and then it was back to bed.
