Day 9 MGM studios and Romanos

Well this was our last full day so it was back to the studios where we seen Beauty and the Beast for the first time it was fab loved the “sound men” who were on first, for anyone who hasn’t seen this get there about fifteen minutes before the show starts. Another go on TOT and RRC and a wee browse around the shops then it was back on the boat to The yacht and beach club and to Beaches and cream for lunch .We all had burgers and onion rings…delicious! Another stroll through EPCOT and another first for us..Soarin…well how amazing is that !!! I had read on the Dibb that to fully appreciate it you had to sit in the front row so that’s what we did and it was really worth the wait we all loved it cant wait to go back on it.
Back up to the hotel ..another wee wall greens trip for Leigh then we went back to get showered and changed for dinner .When we were all ready Leigh handed us all a wee box with gorgeous tinker bell earrings in each with our birthstone that she had bought earlier that day in MGM as a memento of our girly holiday. Thank you again Leigh they are lovely.
Over to Romano’s for dinner ..I love the table covers in there they are paper and the waiter gives everyone a crayon so we decided to write our highs and lows of the holiday on them and we had such a laugh remembering everything that had happened I think everyone must have thought we were mad as we were laughing so hard. We took it home with us and Claire and I found it on Christmas day and again had a good laugh. We will have to have a girly night soon with Leigh and Erin and take it with us.
We all had “the invent your own pasta dish” where you get to choose the type of pasta, sauce and 3 or 4 other ingredients ,again it was all lovely, also when you sit down they bring you the most amazing hot bread with balsamic vinegar and olive oil to dip it in so there really is no need for a starter, a few glasses of wine later it was back to the hotel and off to bed.

The earrings sound gorgeous. Romanos sounds like a fun place to eat, what a nice idea to write out your highs and lows.

Thanks for your kind comments Susan yes she did really love it this time so much so tha we are all going back in October.Romanos is walkable from Saratoga Springs but quite a long one!!! Taxi would be around $6-7 as we got a taxi down to DTD a few times from the hotel.

We have walked to Crossroads a few times and think it is not much further. However we have not been in August before and it could be quite humid and uncomfortable.

Hope you all have a great time in October
