Back to Sea World this morning ,did the Clyde and Seymour show ,had another wee walk round then we split up as Claire wanted to buy herself a pair of proper Cowboy boots from Scheplers at festival bay and Leigh and Erin headed back to Premium outlets. So Claire and I hopped on the I ride which goes right up I drive and went to Festival Bay and headed straight for Fuddruckers for their amazing burgers…we both had the children’s meal which consisted of cheese burger, onion rings or fries a small drink and a cookie!! So for anyone who doesn’t have a huge appetite I would recommend this option as they don’t mind that its not actually for children and I think it was only $4.50 each.
Off to scheplers where after 30 minutes of trying various pairs on Claire bought herself a lovely brown leather pair of cowboy boots $185 + Tax so about £100 which I thought was great value as they are an investment as they really never go out of fashion.
Back on the I ride to premium outlets to meet up with Leigh and Erin, they had lunch at the food court Chinese outlet where they shared a meal again the portions are huge and they don’t mind giving you an extra plate.
We are not meanies by the way… its just that the portions are huge and I hate wasting food ,and sharing meals and adults eating kids portions seem to be more acceptable in the US.
We went back to the Cosmetic outlet where Leigh and I got a bargain set of Estee Lauder make up for $35 which was on sale here in the UK recently for £45 if you bought a full size perfume. Its total value was £245 .We also got a set of full size Clinique soap, clarifying lotion and moisturiser in a toilet bag with a wee travel set included for $30 dollars!!! Only wish the baggage allowance was more as I would have bought more.
We got a taxi back to the hotel ….no scary driver this time thank goodness!!! We told him about scary lady and he said we should have got her number and reported her!!! We were just glad to get out the taxi alive!!!!
Quick wash and Change and its back on the bus to Disney .We went to the Ticket and transportation centre to catch the monorail over to the grand Floridian when we got there we got chatting to the cast member a lovely older man and when the monorail came in he took us up to the front so we could ride with the driver ..who sadly was uncommunicative…he never spoke to us at all!!
Anyway off at the grand Floridian for a walk around. I really love this hotel and if I ever win the lottery this is where I WILL stay!
Leigh and Erin loved it too !! We then caught the monorail over to Magic Kingdom did Pirates of the Caribbean, Philharmagic, and Small world (cant remember if we did anything else) and then got ourselves a spot to watch Spectromagic and then Wishes which was fantastic as usual. Another wee browse around the shops and it was back on the bus and all exhausted ….straight to bed.
